"We shall break the cross and spill the wine. ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome. ... God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement.

What a peaceful message them Muslims convey. I don't know about the rest of the people on Yahoo but I am getting so sick and disgusted with those damn Muslims and their twisted way of thinking. Their religion is a bunch of mindless dribble. We need to kick them out of our country and let them act out their hatred amongst their own kind instead of inflicting it on Innocent people. The cowardly bast ards.

We all have our opinions on how things should be. Some of us accept that things won't be that way. Some of us take modest steps to make things a little better. Some stand up and shout what's wrong with the way the world is right now. Still others build bombs and blow up other people and places.
Most of us follow a principle of, 'And it harm none, do what ye will,' whether we realise it or not. We allow people to believe what they want, do what they want, and say what they want, until it interferes with our lives. It's a fine principle, but there are people out there who _cannot stand_ to know people are doing things wrong. They believe in order, they believe in following the rules, and they believe that everyone should follow those rules, if not for their own good, then simply because it is 'right.'
Religious fanatics tend to believe that what their god says--or what they think he says--is absolutely right, and dissenters should be punished. In their minds, dissenters should be made to fear God as the believers do, even if the believers themselves must take on the mantle of doing so in the name of god, as a vessel through which their god acts.
People who suffer tend to cling to religion, and when people who suffer see people of other religions profiting and enjoying life, the usual conclusion is that those other people are wicked. By blaming the West(which is, admittedly, not blameless) for all of the problems in the Middle East and by branding the West evil, the people of the Middle East gain an easy focus to blame on why things are so bad, a religiously-backed victim's mentality, where anything is allowed, because they feel they are the unfortunate victims.
They can justify it by saying that we're evil, that the West (the US specifically) had an indifferent hand in the death of thousands of Muslims throughout the 60's, 70's, and 80's, and telling each other that the West is on a Christian Crusade.
They're certainly not strong points-I disagree with most of them and find they're certainly not justification-but they're strong enough for an oppressed, indoctrinated people to believe in, die for, and kill for.
