Why in America priced at xxx.9? Why the extra 9/10 of a cent? Why not just raise the price the extra 1/10 cent

It is a marketing trick. We don't see the .9. so when we see 221.9 we think cool, it is only $2.21.

Because they want us to think the price is lower than it actually is.
I hate that!
