Muslims quote Luke 22:43 as proof that when Jesus cried out to God not to be crucified, that an angel came and saved him from crucifixion. However the next verses says that Jesus was arrested by the mob for crucifixion.

My Question is: on what basis do you accept the first passage as uncorrupted scripture, but reject the next verse as corrupted scripture?

Hi.

I live in California. Have lived here all my life, as well as, my husband and 3 daughters.

We have seriously considered to move to Plano, Frisco or McKinney, Texas. (WE ARE SICK OF CALIFORNIA!) I SO want to move to Texas, however, I do not know the area well, I'm looking to talk to people that currently reside in the Dallas/Collin Cty. area and have moved there from CALIFORNIA. Check your history before you puff up with righteous indignation. Africans,Native Americans, and last time I checked the christians were the bad guys during the crusades. The Tuskegee experiments, experiments performed on the eskimoes,and the sterilization of southern blacks. I was born an raised in America ,served 6 years in the military, but I know only a fool hides behind a flag without studying the whole picture. America cant even begin to point its finger at other countries regarding human rights crimes. Or must I remind you it was less than 56 years ago white people were still lynching black WW 2 veterans. Hmmmm you help save the world from the axis and come home to get lynched for sitting in a segregated cafe'. I follow islam but I think it was said best " let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Just something to think about, and finally "Allah" is simply the islamic word for God; not another being. God is God.

I would like to know, because Mormons say they believe in the same spiritual gifts recorded in the bible (1 Cor. 12) and operate in them.

I had Jehovah's Witnesses coming to my place a few times before I put up a No Solicitation sign on my front door...

Not that I have anything against them personally, it's just that I'm secure in my faith and I don't want to change.

Does that type of solicitation bother you?

They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
