I must say you have a better chance with Christ than you will ever have with an Islamic God that preaches violence.

I think I can spell sulphur...
For a start, everyone who has taken the least trouble to look into it knows that the Qu'ran was written 600 years after Christ. I've no idea what your point about that is, unless you have some point to make about the Gospels also being written so long after his death that they can be discounted as well.
The God of Islam is the God of Abraham and Ishmael, the God of the Jews and Christians. Muslims reject Christ's divinity; so do I. They reject his claim to be the son of God; so do I. Et cetera. But he is one of their major prophets and they revere and respect him more, I think, than you do. you appear merely to fetishize him. Psychos and nut-jobs of any so-called faith are to be abhorred, but I get the impression that you first heard of Islam on around, let me see, 11 September 2001. And true to form, and much like the Islamofascists I expect you hate, you make up the version of your "enemy" that suits your prejudices. Your kind of thinking is a stain on the earth.

A-MAN - Somebody had to say it. The Quran was put together 23 yrs. after the death of Muhammad. The scholars got their information from memories of others, from writings on rocks and the shoulder blades of camels Etc. And then proclaim, it is as it always was.
Most of the stories came from the Bible. But memories are fragile and the stories got a little mixed up. That's why the Quran is so confusing.
Taimur is wrong: Jesus said,"My father and I are one."
Messiah means... The Annointed one, saving, the eternal one.
Jesus comes from Hebrew meaning The annointed one. Christ comes from the Greek word Christio. Translated to English is Jesus Christ.
There is only one eternal one.

Actually, Islam teaches many of the same basic principals as Christ did--mercy, forgiveness, charity, obedience to temporal law, kind treatment of those less powerful than yourself, etc. Of course they disagree with the idea that Jesus was God--after all, they aren't Christians. That is a uniquely Christian belief.
Sadly, many proponents of Islam fail to live up to the ideals of their faith.
Ditto for Christians.

So what if Al Quran was 600 years after Christ? The Bible was not agreed upon until 300 years after Christ? Did you know that? Do you know who decided? Did you know there was no such thing as Christmas for the first 300 years? Do you know why Christmas came into being? Why do people who do not know anything about their own religion attack other religions?

Are you aware that the Bible is merely a collection of letters & records from Europe & the Middle East that was gathered together and bound into a religious tome over a period of several centuries after the death of Christ in order to impress the Catholic church members into handing over control of their lives and finances to the church?
And are you aware that you are preaching anti-Islamic rhetoric, and that this is not allowed at Yahoo Answers?
Reported. Have a nice salvation.

well well well...we muslims follow Jesus,, not paul or john...
point number 1 >>> There is not a single explicit statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (peace be upon him) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me".
Explicit meaning is when you go to the shop and a sign is hanging on the door, "CLOSED", You don't turn to your friend and say, "What do you think is the meaning of that". That's explicit, No argument in it's meaning.
=============================
point number 2 >> If Jesus claim to be son of God,, that does not make him God..
Adam is called as the son of God in Luke 3:38
David was called son of God in 2 Samuel 7:14
Israel is called as son of God in Exodus 4: 22
Jeremiah 31:9 "…For I (God) am a Father to Israel, and E’-phra-im is my firstborn."
David is also called as God's firstborn in Psalms 89:27
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the sons of God. Mathew 5:9
According to the Bible every righteous person who follows the Commandments of God is referred to as son of God
=============================
point number 3
yes we reject Jesus death on cross,, because Jesus was not sent for this ..
The mercy of God is such that we do not need anyone to die on cross for our sins.God does not hold anyone responsible for the sin of anyone else, nor does He forgive the sins of one man by sacrificing another.
==================
POINT NUMBER 4 >> YOU LIED .... WE MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS CHRIST OR MESSIAH
Messiah means "anointed one" - "Anointed" does not mean "God".
QURAN (5:75) "Christ the son of Mary was no more than an Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!"
hope this answers

Did you know that the NT was not written until about 40 years after the death of Christ? And that the people who really wrote the books did not know Christ personally? They only heard stories, get it stories?
