In Jude 3; 2 Peter 1:3; John 16:13 and 2 Tim 3:16 the Bible is called an all sufficient book with no need for anything else in regards to how we live our lives or worship God. Muslims claim the same thing for the Qur'an.

My question is: how can the Qur'an be all sufficient in the worship of Allah, if it does not even mention something as important as praying five times a day and does this not prove that the Koran without the Hadith is like a car without an engine?

How quickly we all forget 9/11.I am from NYC.Lost people on that day,as did everyone I know.It is extremely hurtful to come on this board and see people attacking the Pope.He's a hero in my eyes,and do you know why?Because he actually said something,about these horrible Muslims.You people keep going on about ,Oh go and read the Koran,or enter a mosque.Have you ever had to live in a neighborhood with these creeps?Do you know how they hate all Americans?Wake up folks.Oh and if you get nasty,I don't care if I delete my question.God Bless all the fallen heroes of 9/11.Stop defiling their memory ,by defending these pigs.

I asked a question earlier asking for opinions on an outfit i was planning on wearing to wedding reception and this 1 idiot has now made me feel like sh1t!because i mentioned that i`m only 5ft and between a size 12/14 he though it fine to make nasty comments.ok i agree it`s not a great size to be but i`ve recently lost over a stone and will continue to do so,are all men as nasty as this?Do we all need to be stick insects to be attractive?I know i`m not ugly,i`m not drop dead either!!The worst part is i`m actually letting his remarks get me down!!

Muslim's claim that Isaiah 42 is a prophecy of Muhammad. Yet Isaiah 53 is one of the foremost prophecies of the crucifixion of Christ in the entire Old Testament.

My question is: on what basis do you feel Isaiah 42 is uncorrupted which prophecies Muhammad, but Isaiah 53 is corrupted that prophesies the crucifixion of Christ?

As a Christian I believe that I should try and spread the word of God. However, I can appreciate that many atheists don't want this at all. That is of course fair enough. But, you must realise that in fact we want the best for you and love you. Is that such a bad thing? Just letting you know why we might want to try and convert you ok.

Right, so then why is it that many atheists have to be horrible to Christians? Please understand that I do not mean all atheists! You may think I am stupid, but I am not that stupid to assume that. To insult and say that we are stupid, that our beliefs are invalid etc... what is that going to achieve?

And what is more, why do you have to take the piss out of our religion? To insult Jesus etc. I just don't understand why someone would have to do that?

Please explain, and also please understand that if this does not apply to you, then I don't want to offend you, but reply anyway!

The yearly Passover ritual began the same year it was initiated in the 10th plague and continued uninterrupted for 1500 years. The weekly Lord’s supper ritual began the same week that Christ was crucified and has continued ever since for 2000 years. The Islamic rituals just come out of nowhere, 2600 years after Abraham lived.

Being as unbiased as you possibly can, My question is: are not the Jewish and Christian rituals more likely to be based on real history since the rituals of Islam that just pop out of nowhere 2600 years later?
