Yes I do but I do not think that we will always understand the purpose when it happens. From personal experience things like death or loss always happen for a purpose but we don't see it because we are grieving. When the grief subsides, then you see the purpose and are able to learn the lessons from it. And still there are some things that happen and you never understand. That is the way that learning is. If you can keep yourself open, even when the event hurts you have a better chance for understanding.

Yes, I think everything happens for a reason. But I also think god gave us our own free will to make decisions in our lives, and the way our lives turn out is a result of the paths we chose. And sometimes, even though bad things happen,it is for a reason.

I don't think religion has anything to do with it. It's a scientific fact that there's cause & effect.
I believe we create our experiences based on our perceptions of self. I've been recently reading a book by Marianne Williamson, "A Return to Love", in which she says we experience what we believe will happen. In other words, if we expect the worse to happen, it will. So, if we create our own experiences, than what happens happens for that reason.

Absolutely not.
The Bible itself says "because Time and Unforseen occurrence befall them all." (Eccl. 9:11) This shows that ACCIDENTS HAPPEN. Or that by going down that last road, you never know what's going to take place. Not everything happens for a reason, sometimes, "sh1t happens" (sorry about the poor paraphrasing).

Yes I believe everything happens for a reason. With God there aren't any coincidences.

No. Some things are just bad or senseless.
Being religious, I believe that if I am faithful to God, He can use even those events for my ultimate good. (As in the story of Joseph.)

the Word of God lets me know that there is nothing that can happen that He doesn't know about;i believe He allowed us to have free will so that we could make mistakes in life so that we can obtain wisdom and knowledge and learn not to lean on our own understanding;but to trust in Him to carry us Thur anything that might come up against us.
