Its probably just your perception, I have actually found it to be the opposite in my experience.

Actually the 'attrative people' I know are cocky and mean to others. The people who some people see as 'unattractive' have a low-self esteem. People say I'm average and I still hate every aspect of myself. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We all have different views.

Who are we as people to say anyone is unattractive. Someone who may look like a goonie off one of those old popeye cartoons may be hideous to you, but someone may think they are as cute as pie and rub their furry little arms with love and endearment. I think no one should be cocky AND no one should have low self esteem. I think we should have self esteem no matter what anyone thinks of us. Because no matter how beautiful a person can think they are, they can have the ugliest heart in the world and that goes for so-called beautiful and ugly people.

You might turn this around and say ********* is unattractive. In any case, it's so much more than attractiveness that's important.
Self esteem comes from having people around you who love and support you such as family and friends.
The ugliest person can believe they're physically attractive if everyone tells them they are. Conversely a physically attractive person will believe thmselves ugly if they are frequently told that by people.

It is the natural reaction of filling in the gap of attraction. Attractive people have already the lines of charisma. The unattractive ones become cocky to attract attention.

I think it's because when you are beautiful you have people who are jealous of you and who put you down. You may not have as many friedns as some non-attractive people who have friends with low self-esteem. People with low self-esteem tend to hang out together and feed off one anothers strengths.
