Disclaimer: I purposefully worded this question this way to get as many responses as I could. I put it in the Religion and Spirituality section because my answer, is Pride, which according to some major world religions is a sin.

So, the polite question, What are the obstacles to people admitting that they are wrong?

I don't know if a day has gone by when there isn't some terrorist act by Muslims somewhere in the world, but especially in the Middle East. They seem to love to blow themselves up and take innocent bystanders. Is life that cheap for Muslims? I know that they think they'll be rewarded in the afterlife by some demonic god (certainly not my God) for their cruelty and hatred, but why do they think their lives on earth are so meaningless as to find it acceptable to torture, behead, and murder people, all in the name of their demonic religion? Of course, terrorists exist in every religion, culture, and country. However, I'll give Muslims credit for one thing: they dominate the category of terrorism. The hypocrisy of their claiming to be "peaceful" is mind-boggling. The tragedy is that ignorant people believe their ugly propaganda.

Yes many times....in John 18:6 Jesus declares that I AM HE.which only Jehovah God uses in the old testament,

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witness saith the Lord and my servant whom i have chosen that ye may and understand and believe ME, and understand that I AM HE, before me there was no God formed neither shall there be after me!

Jesus said he has no need to testify of himself but others can testify of him...

1 John5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD , and eternal life.

We are facing a unsecure situation , They say Iran have nukes is it a problem? will they shoot at other places if they were threten ? Syrea is shooting at US deligates. ? Iraq situation will stay for another couple of years. Uneducated Afgans are blasting other religous ancient monements. They say Islam is the pease , but in the name of Islam there are terror groups who want to blast westerners. Bring buildings down with hundreds of people in it. Is this funny thingee for muslims? Islam mosques shout loud and disturbing way for others to bring muslims to mosque. Usa did some stupid sh it like invading vietnam ones. For no reason. Everywere people get killed. World's valubal sourses get distroyed. Techonlogy is used for disaster not for the human sake. I'm getting f__king pis ed off here..fcuk Bil ladin and the 40ty thieves.

For me, the one remark that strikes a nerve every time is "grow up." I can be called “loser,” “asshole,” etc. and I’ll laugh… someone can wish death on me and my family and I’ll write him/her off as a fu(king idiot not worthy of my time… a person could even insult my intelligence and it wouldn’t be HALF as bad as someone telling me to “grow up.” The other day, when some ***** told me to “grow up” after I voiced a LEGITIMATE complaint in a MATURE manner, I damn near went haywire. I am a mature, financially-independent, mid-20s professional, so I don’t know where the fu(k she got off telling me to “grow up”!!!!!!!!!! You are not my mother. You had no real basis upon which to make that unwarranted CHEAP SHOT against me. So bite your tongue before I yank it out of your damn mouth, *****!

The other one that makes my blood boil is, “How old are you? 12?” You can replace 12 with any age under 18.

Dear All Spiritualists? I have in my possession six ticket to attend a spiritual event at Wembley Arena.The organisation responsible for this event are a worldwide global organisation recognised by the U.N. as being a peaceful organisation promoting values of peace and humanity. There will be many items going on at then event singing; meditation talks other shows etc. I have six tickets and am flying on holiday this weeekend so will miss the show.
Robin Gibbs and Ruby Wax are presenting stuff and there will be other people there too. I am offering tickets to anyone interted in this area, beginners or pros alike and people from different faiths

Im a little confused by the Sharia Law in Islam. Ive seen heated debate (Well, damn near fist fights) about these laws. For example, one conservative Imam and a more liberal Muslim were arguing that this girl, who wanted to be a fashion designer. The conservative chap wanted her to be punished as it is, apparently, an offence to draw human features. The other was arguing for a more relaxed interpretation. My points are: 1. how can there be understanding (and therefore peace) between the West and Islam if there can be no understanding or consensus between Muslims over Sharia Law? Two, how can Muslims integrate with western civilisations if what we consider normal is sacrilegious to certain elements of Islam?

You scream she wasn't the wife but doesn't the biblical account of the wedding at Cana (John 2) [1] actually, the marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalene? I am not referring to novels - but the bible. The Virgin Mary advising the servants to do what Jesus tells them, is exactly what any jewish mother would do for her son's wedding, and according to Jewish tradtion the mother is in charge of the servants at a wedding. So does this suggest Mary and Jesus got hooked up? Why is this such a problem for Christians? Can't they believe the son of God took a wife?

I'm getting annoyed by sellers (especially eBay shops) not leaving feedback until after the customer has left theirs. The customer must fulfil their obligations of the transaction first, ie. provide delivery information and pay. Surely, it's up to the seller to leave feedback at that point instead of hedging it?

I've stopped leaving feedback altogether for sellers who do that. What do you think? Fair enough?
