chuck c, very good answer. WE ask god to forgive us,it is we who keep our own records,it is ourselves that must learn to forgive. God still believes we are his perfect children,our guilty conscience makes us hide.

Human love is conditional,as sunlight passing through water chrystals divides into the colors of the rainbow,human love passing through mental concepts and emotions divides into love/hate the whole range of emotions.

The love the Father has for us. Agape... I love my son no matter what he has done. But I don't like some of the things he has done.

That is love from the heart according to the teaching of the One True God.
This love does not change because of any conditions from the outside, like the rain falling on all people without distinguishing the good from the bad, like the wind blowing through all regions without discriminating populated or inhabited areas, like the sun shining on all creatures without choosing the high or the low ones.

Unconditional love is exactly that love which has no conditions on it. It is love because you love the person not love because the person does something you love. I unconditionally love my Wife and my Kids. This will never change. I will love my own child as he/she literally puts a knife in my heart. Also CathloicMom; I am the father of five wonderful children, who are you to say mothers are the ones with the best chance to feel unconditional love? I know lots of mothers who have hurt their children, who have abandoned their children, who have let their children be hurt. Is that love of any kind? Yes mothers who love their children usually love them unconditionally but don't forget us Dads. Many of us love our children as much as you love your kids and to say any less is very wrong.
Oh and as for God's love being unconditional, My children don't need to ask to be forgiven for me to still love them and forgive them. That is unconditional love.

Unconditional love is loving someone no matter what. Looking past the flaws, failures, sins, lies etc.. and aceepting that person for who they are. To me it's mostly like a parents love, as a parent there is nothing my child could do to make me not love her. She will make mistakes and she will dissapoint me but I will still love her. The love that God has for me is unconditional. I am a recovering addict with 2 1/2 years clean. Before I got clean I sinned against God very much so. I turned my back on him and had no moral whatsoever. But yet he still loved me, still chose to save me despite all I had done.

God's love is unconditinal love as is the love of parents for their children supposed tobe. It means that no matter what we do God will forgive us and accept us as His own. All we have to do is ask for forgiveness and thentry very hard not to do that thing again. Just like parents who love their children no matter what. If they commit a crime they have to do the time but we should never turn our back on them.

It is love for a child from a parent.Most parents love their kids unconditionaly even when they do wrong, that sort of love doesn't exist between man & woman!

To love someone without condition as in loving someone for no particular reason..just love them the way the are and not because they are rich or beautiful or you're in debt to them..
basically, just love them without expecting anything form them..

Agape love. It's a love we get though we don't deserve it. It's a love we give because we choose to overlook the faults of the other person. Rare.
