With the arguments going these days, should we teach both, or should we not teach either, and leave it to a private, culture, homemade, idea?

Personally, I think that both should be taught.

With increased amounts of travelling and global corporations, our world is definately getting smaller.

Children should learn something about multiple religions..if nothing else, so they can understand others. I could tell you about the beginning of the world from a Christian point of view, but I have no idea how Islam or Buddism feel about how the world began. I was taught evolution in school, but I have yet to see conclusive proof that evolution is correct either.

If the origins of life can not be proven, then it should be taught from multiple perspectives, not just Evolution and Christianity.

Just MHO.

Schools should teach truth! There is more proof that Jesus lived that Alexander the Great. The history of the Christians and Israel is a fact for Historians to mull over.
No facts have been unearthed as to the theories (guesses) of Evolution. One could be taught as true history and the other as class discussion. Teach a class on intelligent design on the millions of creatures that are studies in Zoos Gardens Parks. Oceans. ecology Astronomy..biology. math. Who created the Automoblie and computer a chance happening or a designer? Teach the truth and we would have a great start. The word miracle means something to wonder about, Life itself is a great subject Why Are we here?

Religion belongs in the church and not in the schools - besides which version of religion should they be teaching - and when does teaching become preaching?

No, that's a family's responsibility and decision, not the school board's. We're individuals, and I don't want some teacher teaching a religion or variation of a religion I don't necessarily support or believe. Only hardcore relgious extremists disbelieve evolution.

The information helps evolution, and that is unlawful to instruct non secular ideals as information, to not point out dumb. technological expertise is approximately information. The information are that evolution is extraordinarly nicely-supported by ability of each and every of the information. What might an "alternante" type instruct? That Ymir died, and the international is produced from his corpse? How plenty time for technological expertise is left while each and each community American creation fantasy is taught, and then the youngsters confirm which one is genuine in accordance with...what? not the information, via fact the technological expertise type won't have taught them any yet. So i assume they %. their popular in accordance with their very own ideas and desires? it quite isn't what technological expertise type is for. " the popular public of places even instruct macro-evolution as a actuality, while it hasn't unquestionably stepped forward farther than an unconfirmed hypothesis." it quite is merely incorrect. you have been misinformed. Do you care which you're spouting falsehoods? "And why does it look that any communicate concerning evolution continually gets heated?" honest human beings get pissed while they see gross falsehoods propagated. "no rely if that's regarded at from a basically scientific view, then shouldn't non secular ideals be left thoroughly out of this?" via fact technological expertise is approximately what the information demonstrates, and the information demonstrates evolution, and not Creationism. Sorry which you do in comparison to that, yet coaching non secular ideals on the fringe of chilly confusing technological expertise is a lie, and honest human beings get pissed at outright falsehoods.

I don't know. Should we allow them to give a condom to your daughter or son passing the message, "here. Go have fun! We "know" you are going to do it anyway so let the local govt. foot the bill for the prophylactic!"
