How would you first catagorize them?

Intangible.
Sometimes they're referred to as "Phasers" or people who can "Phase".
However, I like the word, Ethereal.
That's how I would categorize them.
They might include ghosts, ghouls, spectres, phantoms, some demons...and a few others.

I've only heard reports of such 'beings' in fiction. Never heard any one claim to have the talent.

they concentrate hard enough so that their molecules shrink and pass thru the molecules of other objects which are spaced wider apart than theirs.
