Christian rock? I'm Christian & wouldn't want to hear that for all eternity! :) Look around you! What is here - the beauty and creativity is nothing compared to what's in heaven! Don't sell heaven short... you've been terribly misinformed. Read up - try reading Resurrection (Hank Hanagraaff) or Heaven, Your Real Home (Joni Erakson Tada) and get some different perspectives. There is a book by Alan Watts which basically states that there could be little difference between heaven and hell. Heaven would be floating on clouds and listening to harp music; hell would be eternal fire - it is the same in the long run - eternal sameness.

I was once stopped by someone preaching in our town centre and asked :-

Given the choice would you choose to spend eternity at gods right hand playing the harp and watching children play or I would i choose to spend eternity in the fires of hell where I would be forced to endure orgy's, gambling, alcohol and drugs.

I thought that was a really hard choice to make! Lmao!

I bet that preacher turned more people off christianity than on to it!!

Greetings,
You say that you choose hell over heaven, for what ever reason?? You should re-think your position.... I mean, take a blow torch and turn up the flame till it is white hot.... next role up your sleeve on your shirt exposing the under side of your forearm...and finally position the flame directly on your skin for say one minute.... now as your arm is racked with the most excruciating pain that you have ever felt, try and imagine that pain over your entire body for all eternity.... now, are you sure that you choose hell over heaven????

When you put it like that it sounds pretty scary. The thought of spending eternity listening to Cliff Richard and Stryper fills me with dread.

Who'd you get in Hell? All the "Bad Boys" like Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Bon Scott etc? Hmmm. Sounds like one hell of a party!!!

Full of Christians singing Christian Rock - That is more my vision of hell, with them all Worshipping Rory & Wendy from the God Channel (GOD TV) - Rory & Wendy who are so Christian that they even have money alters for their stash of cash...

Money Alters, in the Church - I wonder what their Lord & Saviour would have to say about that - Would he give them a good kicking? LOL!

Heaven isn't all about singing, although I do enjoy it. But Hell is about being tortured for eternity. I think I'd rather sing. But each to his own.

I don't think you need to worry. What you are referring to is not singing - more like howling (whether it be xtian or not is irrelevant). Actually, the noise is so cacophonus the it is more likely to be found in Hell.
It's use in churches was intended to attract the less educated, working classes who wanted a disco rather than preaching and singing.

lol, now that hit my funny bone.
On a more serious note, don't Christians realise that forever is a bloody long time?
Who would want to be around forever?
Its an alien concept to me, I don't want to live forever, I'd like to live for a good while, but certainly not forever. That would be worse than being in hell.

I'm not christian and I am not sure I believe in heaven but I do have a good answer for this one. Why should the Devil have all the good music?
