if you suggest pills or the doctor, don't bother.
my GF and I are very spiritual in nature and plan on meditating together.
Today, interestingly enough, i will be going to my first yoga meditation class.

I rarely have dreams. I sleep hard and wake up refreshed every day.
as a child I had dreams of "deja vu". they stopped when i was about 18.
I just moved to a new house/apartment, and things "feel" ok
...
I'm in a dark area watching the mid section of a naked woman (I don't have a body).
I see the side of her body, and in front of her, is another man (his head only).
He grins, because I know he's about ready to have some "fun"
at first, i felt that it was a reflection of me, but he doesn't look like me
i look at his eyes, and his eyes change.
the pupils start to go elongated, and i get a STRONG sense of evil.
then I woke up.
Felt scared and feeling very invaded.
Like as if that person was someone, or something that came into my dream,
as if he wasn't part of my dream.

when you see or hear the words alpha kappa alpha or delta sigma theta, what are your thoughts about the organization? what im basically asking is, how do you characterize or sterotype the two different organizations? be honest and truthful, this site is totally confidential. i just want to hear random answers from random people.

and just stop trying to imitate us black folks? maybe it's just the young kids that are doing it but hey i'm just damn tired of watching hispanic kids trying to C-Walk, doing the b-boy stance, and little eminems with du-rags..choose ya own style and make it fly.
it just looks so whack and hella unnatural.

I'm just wondering, because I don't feel that I am owed anything. I don't know any black people who feel this way. Where are you meeting these people? I want to know. Some life experiences would be great. I really would like to understand this.

Im not saying that America is perfect, but America is the most giving country on the face of earth. America helps so many nations and yet people continually tell us how "evil" and selfish we are. So suppose America vanished. Would the world be a better place? Personally I think not since other countries would fight trying to take the place of America as the world superpower. Suppose Iran won that fight, how would the world like having a country like that in power??

Did they probably all partake in eating the remnants of the forbidden fruit? Or is the story and the origin of christianity based on one big illogical lie?

If I said I believed life is actually a big computer program like a giant video game, in which we are just characters, made by an advanced alien race for their entertainment, someone would ask why I beleived that. If I said I believed it because I had faith in it, I'd probably be thought of as crazy. My faith-based belief would be an irrational assumption or delusion. And it definitely be a hard sell to convince people that I was right.

Of course, my example is a bit ridiculous. But when I've questioned religious people, it seems that the reasons for their beliefs usually boil down to faith as well. And they seem to take pride in that. When put in a religious context, why is faith-based thinking seen often as okay or even praiseworthy? Why the paradigm shift?

The Bible was written by primative men like you would find in remote regions of Afganastan today. No wonder it sounds so barbaric.

I was in a long distance relation for quite a while, but yes we did get the chance to be together in person. We were hopelessly in love, but then one day he said he didn't love me anymore and told me that a long distance relationship was just too hard.

I'm over him now, but I sometimes wonder what would happen if we met again. I plan to do some travelling in a year, and I'm debating whether or not I should pay him a visit. It could end up being the best thing I'll ever do for myself, or it could end up being a waste of time and money. Do you think it would be worth it to go see an old love just to see if something happens between us again?

I know I could love him again, and I'm pretty sure he could too, even though he may ignore his feelings when the time comes.

Women: if you ask a guy out, you offer to pay and he lets you, would you think he's cheap? Would you be willing to date him again? What if he says, "let's split the bill?" Would you still be insulted that he didn't pay for you?

Personally I'm a guy, and I think that if you offer to pay (especially if you asked him out) then you should be willing to. What do the rest of you think?
