I think its stupid to think you can have reverse racism because of something that happened 150 years ago. Racism is wrong no matter what color your skin is. No offence, but there is not a black person alive today that went through slavery. I would just like them to stop acting like they did. Of course there is racism in the world today, but accept the fact that it is nothing like 1850. I am tired of everything being racist if something is not in a black mans favor. REAL CASE: I told someone I could not accept their card because it was not the same name on their D.L, "Yea I bet you would if I were white", and I catch two black girls trying to take money from a 12 year old white boy, , I stop them and they claim to the police that I was just being racist because I was keeping an eye on them when it happened. STOP PLAYING THE RACE CARD!. What does everyone else think, about anything to do with this. No, "We deserve to be, because of slavery", or anything on that level. Please it's played.

The Human Development Index (HDI) was developed in 1990 by the Pakistani economist Mahbub ul Haq. It is a comparative measure of poverty, literacy, education, life expectancy, childbirth, and other factors for countries worldwide & is a standard means of measuring well-being, especially child welfare.
In the list of top thirty countries ranked on the basis of HDI, there is not a single Islamic country even though they control most of the world’s oil & the associated revenue.
Is it because the concept of blind faith does not allow for rational thinking which is a must for scientific progress? Or because of the intolerance practised in Islam - no tolerance for criticism or the other point of view, or the inability to accept that there is a problem (most of the answerers here point out to the problems in other communities or religions which is not a solution).
Pl do not take this criticism but as a search for answers.

Also, when did astrologers start tracking Neptune and Pluto, as neither were discovered until about 200 years ago (Neptune) and earlier this century.

If Pluto continues to have an influence on my life, do the other asteroids and minor planets?

Had a dream last night that my mom's family was coming over. I confronted my mom as she sat at the piano. I told her I hated her, grabbed her by the hair of the head and began bashing her head into the piano keys. After a while I looked into her eyes and said I couldn't wait for her family to come so I could do the same to them. One of my brothers tried to defend her but I began punching him in the face repeatedly.

If this sounds repulsive to you, imagine how I felt after having this dream! I'm getting tired of dreaming I'm evil all the time... What does it mean and how do I make it stop?

Sometimes weird coincidences happen. Sometimes when they happen, I get what I wanted, and sometimes I get what I didn't want, but actually needed. Sometimes I get what I specifically didn't want or need. Chaos abounds.

If I were prone to superstition, I could say that benevolent supernatural forces are working on my behalf. Sometimes they give me what I wanted, but sometimes they know better, so they give me what I really needed instead of what I wanted. Sometimes their ways are mysterious beyond my understanding, so it looks like I'm getting jacked. But I know it's really part of their Grand Purpose.

There are no factual differences between these two scenarios; it's just a matter of perspective. If you want to believe that supernatural entities are behind random coincidence, I'm happy for you. I'm merely pointing out that random stuff happens, whether or not you pray. The universe is funny like that.

My girlfriend does. We're going to get married and have children and tra-la-la. All that jazz. She wants our son, Michael, to be gay. She really REALLY wants him to be gay. And I've told her I think it's wrong to hope your children are gay. With homophobia and the way people act towards homosexuals why would you wish that on your child?

It's not that I find homosexuality to be wrong. Obviously, lesbian here. It's that I find homophobia wrong and I find it wrong to want to thrust someone into a world filled with that.

Obviously, if I have a gay son or daughter I will love them. I would even if I were straight.

I just want to know if this is common. I read a Post Secret postcard where someone wrote "I will be disappointed if my children are straight" and it reminded me of my girlfriend.

Am I wrong for not wanting my kids to be gay?

Today me and my youngest daughter went to my friend's house for lunch. She lives in a residential neighborhood where all of the parking is public. There was one parking space on the street and it was accross the street from her house on. There was this guy with his leaf blower outside, just standing almost in the middle of the street, and the chord to it was all over the place I wanted to park, I kind of hovered around the spot, giving him the indication that I wanted to park there and that I would wait for him to move himself and his cord, and he just stood there starring down at me like I was some criminal or something. I then got sick of this and just pulled into the parking space and he starred at me more. I then got my daughter and went into my friends house for lunch. When I came back, he was still there and was still giving me a dirty look like I wasn't supposed to be there when it was a public parking place, and a public street!
