It has nothing to do with homosexuality. The lesson is about a withered fig tree. Jesus cursed a fig tree and peter noticed that it had withered and then went to Jesus telling him so. Jesus then is talking about what you truly believe will be done for you. Read verses Matthew 11:20-25. It will make more sense then.

I don't believe that biblical passage has anything to do with homosexuality. It seems to have a lot to do with faith in our inner guidance to accomplish whatever we want . If being homosexual or gay is what you want and you have the faith to go for it, then maybe the passage could apply; but that's kind of stretching it.

This is not directly related to being gay.
Christians often sight this passage when gay people assert that they were born that way.

This passage indicates that anyone who prays for something, with great faith will recieve it. Mountains can be moved.

I, myself, find it a sad excuse for intolerance.

Nothing. Anyone who cites that passage as having anything to do with homsexuality, either for or against, simply has not understood it. The only sense of the passage is that faith has power.

it has nothing to do with being gay!being gay is a choice its not from birth..this verse of scripture is talking about asking god for things and not believing in your faith in him 2 answer it for u.. because if u r serving god u can ask him for things just like a child ask his father for things so u can do the same with your heavenly father!!!!

That someone was confused. That passage has nothing to do with any particular group. It has everything to do with the power of faith.

Um, ok. That is basically the worst interpretation of that verse I have ever heard. Maybe you should ask her/him to explain, will love to know.

I think this person was trying to justify her lifestyle. But it has nothing to do with being gay.

they were just trying to find a passage to say that it was ok to be gay but God clearly doesn't agree

Probably because it says that if you believe what you say it will happen and that you can have whatever you say. Maybe she spoke her homosexuality into existence.
