I am not sure that a Christian chaplain would administer last rites to a non-christian. Besides if he was given the eternal christian life, he'd probably hate it and try to fly a plane into the pearly gates or something.

Ok. Common misconception... just because an army Chaplain administers the last rites, doesn't mean anyone is going to heaven. No one can save you but Jesus. Even an American soldier in the same situation would not go to heaven unless he has accepted Jesus. I highly doubt Osama would accept Jesus as he is so devote to his faith that he would have people fly planes into buildings, killing thousands.
It doesnt matter who says what. They person must accept Jesus. The chaplain can only pray that God would have mercy on that soul, but only Jesus can save him.

I am not familiar with the last rites. But, in the Christian faith, you must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and came to earth and died for the sins of man in order to get into Heaven.

Osama is too Evil, and I personally dont believe that all the people who have done good in their lives and who are not Christians will end up in hell and all those who are Evil but Convert at the last stage of their lives will be saved.

Hmmmmm, i'm not sure...maybe not since he isn't even Christian in the first place and the last rites things might not work coz maybe he might not 100% believe in Jesus and the whole of Christianity...

No. Catholism doesn't save people from hell. Only Jesus Christ can do that.
Osama Bin Laden will not enter heaven unless, he repents to Jesus Christ everything he has done and begs for forgiveness. That is why it is a gift to be saved.
Even Bin Laden can be saved.

Last rites don't get you to heaven. Truly accepting Christ as your personal savior does. I believe if he truly accepted Christ as his savior on his deathbed and it was a real conversion he could go to heaven. The thief on the cross accepted christ in his last moments and Jesus said to him "this day you will be with me in paradise".
