I totally buy into the concept that evoltion happens. But. How did the first cell that mutated come about? And Creationism does not answer that either - how did the first 'god' come about (come on - this is a physical world). So it MUST be something else. Anyone got any serious clues?

I mean think about it. They promise you if you believe what they believe blindly and unquestioningly you will be rewarded for all eternity no matter what you do. But if you don't believe you will be punished for all eternity no matter what you do. Now it can't just be me that thinks this looks awfully like a bribe and a threat designed to get people in and keep them in. So why would an all powerful god need his "followers" to do this?

steve irwin.. you all know by now what happened,

i absolutly loved him when i was a child, and nothing has changed he lived his life to the full and on the edge, with the friends, family, and animals in which he loved and respected- how many people can say that?

he was a great man who did alot for lives of humans and animals alike..

SOO>> why did it happen? i'd like to believe in karma, but what did this amazing bloke and others alike do to recieve the punishment of death?

Last year my 17yo cousin brought his new girlfriend to my grandmother's house for our family Christmas party. He had said he "might" bring her. My grandmother was very upset because she did not have a gift for the girl. The girl sat there with nothing to unwrap as we all enjoyed opening our gifts.
I was just wondering, as cousins are getting older & getting into "serious" relationships, if this happens again is a party hostess obligated to give a gift to someone they've never met, who may or may not show up for their party?

In the early 90's, a teenager named Kelly Wilson disappeared in a small town called Gilmer, Texas. Several years later, rumors began to fly about a satanic murder, accusing, among others, the chief investigating officer. Many careers were ruined, children were taken from their families for years, and a couple probably child molesters got off scott free because any testimony against them had been irrevocably tainted by these wild rumours. The most frightening thing about the whole affair, to me, was when the DISTRICT ATTORNEY said "The fact that there is no evidence is proof that Satan is involved."
