What if there is a heaven - Christian. Atheist and other religions not. But if there is no heaven - all will be save. Do you think there is a solution to this.?

I think to accept a life philosophy just because you are hedging your bets is a pretty lame reason to do it. 'UMM...I'll go the Christian route just in case it's true...I'll WIN if it is true and if it isn't I don't really lose.' What a typically American attitude.

Well i look at it this way, if there is a heaven then everyone who lives a good life will be saved, regardless of whether or not they are christian or atheist etc. However, if there is no heaven then christians have wasted a large part of their lives preaching and practising something that does not exist. I feel that as an atheist i embrace this life in every way because it may be the only life you get.

What if the whole thing doesnt really apply to life in general? What if we were here by some fluke and its up to us to make of it what we can?
No one has actually come back from the dead saying they have been in Heaven with God Jesus angels etc.
Life is about realisation we we have many of those during it. Just be happy and help others to be happy. Thats what counts in the end. You don't want to get to the end of your life filled with regrets or being unhappy. Life is short enough as it is. Live in each moment as if it were your last and life will bring on a whole new meaning to you and all you have contact with.

Is your faith partly based on fear of not getting into a heaven? Do you need a solution?

There is much much more to spirituality and the human condition than the Christian/Atheist conflict. In fact this conflict does not need to be resolved maybe just replaced or better yet just moved beyond its angst.

This is called pascals wager,
I would say that (as an atheist) I dont have to adopt any silly rules such as wearing a turban. I dont have to take time out to visit a mosque or synagogue. I dont have to pay 10% of my income. And I dont feel obliged to trust any pedophiles, just because they wear a black costume.
Therefore I am better off mentally, physically, financially and ethically.
If there is a god, how do you know he won't be a vengeful deity, as exemplified in the old testament. Maybe you are in the wrong sect, and he will consign you to hell with all us guys

Heaven in the Bible refers to the spiritual realm where God dwells. Nowhere does it say that anyone, including Christians, will go to heaven.

God has a plan for all humanity. So all people, races and religions will get their opportunity for eternal life with God. All of us, Christians and non-Christians alike, are all in the same boat. We all have to wait until after death to see the reality of all of this.

Hinduism existed 4000 yrs prior to any other religion and they didn't do so badly then. I can't see making an iota of difference now.
