I dont agree, i am not classified under any religion....nor am i spiritual in anyway.......yet i live my life well, i dont steal, cheat, lie, murder, nor have i slept with anyone elses partner, i dont treat others badly , instead choose to treat them in the way i would want them to treat me, and my life has turned out quite well in spite of the horrible things i have enduered, life is about choices and the descisions you make in regards to those choices, not religion or spirits you cant see or rely upon to make an informed decision.....as far as i can see religion and spirituality are just the easy way out of admiting that you have done wrong and are feeling guilty, nothing more.

We can see how the scriptures assure us Jesus is Lord and God. Great!!! Now lets look at the Ten Commandments for a second; To see what God feels about worship because your question is, about worship!

The scriptures Commands us that God do no want us to worship or bow down to nothing else but him: But wait there's more!
The people in the bible that followed God understood this and avoided being worshiped.

Angels even refused worship. Look at these heavenly messagers reaction to worship.

(Revelations 19:10) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
(Revelations 22:8-9) And I John saw these things, and heard them. The Angels denied worship. The Angels said worship God.
Jesus himself said worship God;

What happen if you did obey and received worship as a God?

(Acts 12:21-23) And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

What is Jesus response to worship?

(Matthew 14:33) Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

(Matthew 28:9) And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

(John 9:35-38) Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

(Luke 24:52) And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

He(Jesus) never denies worship! Because according to the scriptures he(Jesus) is God. According to (1Timothy 3:16) God has Manifested in the flesh (in human form) as The son of God in the genealogy of King David-Just as prophesied in th Book of Isaiah Chapter 9 Verses 6-7

(Isaiah 9:6-7) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

((Notice how the Mighty God and the everlasting Father is also called the Prince of Peace?))

In plain words the Prince is the King with this in mind it is o.k. to receive worship if you are God. This is why Jesus christ never denied worship. God is Jesus when he appears in the form of a man.
Yet, in the old testment an Angel of the lord would often reappear to some in the form of a man; or a voice with a message and receive worship even claiming he was God. why? Let us examine this:

Ha-gar Seen him the Bible Reads:
(Genesis 16:11-13) And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
(Notice I have looked at him she says) Him being God!!!

Moses see him too;
(Exodus 3:2-6) And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. ((Notice how the angel appeared in the midst the bush yet God is calling out from the midst)) And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. ((Notice How this Angel Informs us he is God.))Mmmm......

Joshua sees him and worships him;
(Joshua 5:13-15) And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

((Notice this Angel do not refuse worship and is in the form of a Man. This is Jesus manifested in the old testament. This sound just Like God manifested in flesh known to us today as "Jesus" the word that was with God and was God from the begining. This is stated in the Book of John the first verse the first chapter))

Gideon sees him:
(Judges 6:11-24) ((Notice how this angel is the lord and assures Gideon he won't died even though he seen "O Lord God")) And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.((This is Jesus in the old testament also))

22 reads: And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O LORD God! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.
23 reads: And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

This is the evidence that Abraham worshiped Jesus:
The Ten Commandments tell us, God says it is wrong to worship anything other than him and all followers of God deny worship even the angels deny worship. Yet, Jesus never denies Worship because according to the prophesy The prince of peace(Jesus) is the mighty God and everlasting Father!

In plain words the Father(God) is the Son(Jesus)

(Isaiah 9:6-7) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 7:14) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

In the new covenant signed with the Blood of Jesus the Lamb of God, God lets us know his wonderful name. God also Lets us worship him in his manifested fleshly temple "Jesus" The Christ!
In the old testament and covenant, God did not Reveal his name Yet, appeared in the form of a man to Joshua and Joshua worshiped him. Ha-gar Even seen Jesus. Jacob wrestled with him in (Genesis 32:24-30) Moses also seen Jesus face to face and since he did not know Gods name, he consider the image of Jesus as a Angel, they all did in the old testament. But we now know this was Jesus because No man can see God in his full Glory and live.

(Exodus 33:20)And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

As a result Mankind can only see God as Jesus and live.
So God in his mercy and love allowed us to see him in the form of Jesus. He also is the Angel of the Lord that appeared to Jacaob, Abraham, Moses plus the rest of the humans in the Old Testament and received worship. God is Jesus because mankind can only see God as Jesus and live. Also only God shall be worshiped!

(John 14:8) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

(John 14:9) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

In conclusion God is Jesus and Jesus is the Angel of the Lord God, that appeared and Received worship plus guided Abraham and other Old Testament people in the way of the Lord God with the words of the Lord God. Touching on Solomon and David lightly, is it well known that they worshiped the God of Abraham. So that means they worshiped Jesus as well, WoW!

When Jesus says I and my Father are one it is something like this;
Just as the sounds that come out of our mouth, your word(s) is of your being. Like- wise this is just how "Jesus" The Christ, is of God's being.

In plain words: A childs voice, his/hers word(s) will never be born before the baby in child birth is born but once the baby is born; The voice is born with the baby at the same time the child leaves the womb.
This explains the verse:
(John 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Seeing that Abraham had full faith in the word(s) of God. Which is faithfulness in Jesus the word of God, and the word of God was revealed manifested in the flesh, explained in the Gospel of John; Which is also the mysterious Angel of God that came with the messages of God than received worship as God frequently in the Old Testament. The Reason God reveals himself in this form is pure mercy and love with grace because, weather you know Gods name is Jesus when manifested to humanity on Earth do not change the fact that mankind can only see God in the Form of Jesus without dying Instantly.
