I have a serious question about how people decide that abortion is murder in the early stages. I put it in religion because it seems like the conservative Christians are the biggest opposers of abortion.
But if you believe in birth control then you probably use condoms and maybe even spermicide condoms, which kills the sperm either way. If you're a woman and take the pill or get shots etc., you're killing the egg.
Now an early abortion in the first month is killing a zygote basically. It is a clump of cells that start to resemble some kind of alien eventually. But besides being shaped vaguely like a human, it doesn't have any organs, no nervous system (it can't see, hear, smell, taste, or feel), under the official definition it doesn't qualify as a living organism. My point is, if you can kill the egg and sperm seperately why can't you kill what is essentially just the egg and sperm combined? Destroying them seperately and destroying them together doesn't seem too different to me.

I see it as a view of the world that is never complete, ever changing (dynamic) and of which everyone receive some random pieces. Sometimes they overlap among the population and consensus is reached, and sometimes they clash and there is disagreement. It´s a puzzle that is ever forbidden to see whole. I read an article stating that "on the average" life expectancy is around 70 years. I multiplied that by 365-days in a year- deducted my age and considered other variables such as lifestyle, stresslevel etc... i figure I've got maybe 8000 days to live! If im lucky enough to live a full life. how about you?

knowledge is power, if you're hungry for the illusion of that kind of power.

I've noticed that there are a number of individuals, who will post gobs and gobs of text from an unknown source, simply because they can not articulate an answer in their own words.

Also there are some people who think that just dropping in a link to another site that may or may not have the answer is the solution to the question.

Are these people just lazy or naive?

Why is it so difficult, to post an answer in your own words as you might interpet your sources of information. If you're right and your reply makes sense, then you may get the 10 point reward.

If you're just going to pollute with gobs of pointless text or useless links that only distract me from my question, especially if they are phony links with nothing to do at all with my question. Why even bother replying to a question. Just type yes or no and move on, if you have to.

I've heard about those sex change operations, and all that transsexual stuff. Do they actually hack it off or something, or do they do something to make the penis into a vagina? I was listening to a classical music CD, and the artist was "Wendy Carlos", who used to be "Juan" (I looked it up). It's a "girl" now. Did Juan/Wendy get it's penis hacked off? It seems like such a final decision, and the people who want those surgeries obviously aren't of sound mind. My other question is: Should these surgeries be made illegal? This is pretty wierd stuff.
