Personally, I am an avid Michael Jackson fan and will defend him to death. I have a pretty solid opinion on the trial and verdict. I would just like someone to give me a solid argument on why he should have been convicted other than he is creepy or gay.

ok people burn there skin on a weekly basis in taning beds.get boob jobs and nose jobs smoke and drink and that is all socialy accepted but if you have some tatoos and peircings you cant even get a job why is this?

Why is it that modern-day muscle men (wrestlers, body builders, athletes, etc.) are much more defined and larger than the wrestlers, body builders and such from back in the 30's, 40's, and 50's? Is it that we have different nutrition now (i.e. growth hormones in animal products, fresher foods, more meat) than we did back then? Or is it because of the way society expects these types people to look and how that has changed over the years?

Why do we poison minds with all the new gadgets???? What is happening to the American "family"? Then we complain about the way kids are turning out today. Do you hug your kids, tell them you love them, make them feel wanted, act like you want them to interact? Spend time with them on family things. We are killing the next generation of minds. In religious scripture (the Bible, the Qu'ron, etc.), is cannibalism explicitly permitted? I know that killing is, but if you ate someone that had been killed by someone else, would that be acceptable?

Are the majority of people afraid of death or are they not fully able to believe or accept that they will die?

Like, everyone knows they will die..but don't really believe it? Can they just not bring themselves to fully believe it..?

Or maybe they are afraid and try not to think about it?

I think that is a sign that we have a life after death. If non-existence is hard to comprehend, what does that mean?

I've written two questions on here that have asked about people being open-minded to other faiths. Granted, they were posted bulletins with multi-questions, but I didn't quite get what I wanted. So this is my one and only question for this post: Why or why shouldn't one be open-minded to other forms of faith or religion? Once again, I do this for insight.

Yet in Christs examples, He dines in with them, but of course, He is Christ....and once people believe in Him... they are not unbelievers anymore in those days...


But how about when my co-workers are....what you can consider an unbeliever....is tthat a veritable proof, i should resign? because i talk to them everyday.

I know this sounds rather idiotic to most people, but I really like to make new friends especially with Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking individuals (between the ages of 22 and 29). The main reason is that I want to learn the respective language and the speaker's culture. Perhaps we can learn from each other. Moreover, as implied, I would like to become fluent in both languages and am possibly contemplating a move to either Argentina, Brazil, or Peru at least for a temporary assignment. Your suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

If people lived forever, would you be concerned about making your life 'meaningful'?

What would 'meaningful' be defined as? Remember, you have all of eternity on earth to do whatever you want. You can't kill people ('cause no-one dies), but you can do whatever else you want.

Don't think about how we'd age or whatever, just about the question. Or about eventualy getting to heaven or what-not.

Actualy, it kinda seems that without either death or God, we have problems here. I could go in circles about this forever.

Religion (especailly Islam) is really destroying and causing problems for everyone. Why do people, in this day of age, still need to believe in some mystical diety in the sky that will zap all the wrong-doers and send them to hell and then send you to a heaven place.

Hopefully humanity will wake up one day.
