What are some reasons people stare at someone?

The person may look familiar, but you just can't place them. Another person may simply be pretty, or have interesting features. Maybe it's the clothes someone is wearing. More lasciviously, a man may stare at a woman because she has nice legs or large breasts, just an attractive figure. Girls, perhaps, stare at boys because they find the hansom, or to have a nice physique, or a cute butt. No doubt there are any number of other reasons, but those are all that come to mind right away. Well, there is one other, I suppose. Some people are just plane rude.

I agree with all of the previous answers, too. Either you're staring at someone because you're curious about them, you believe you've seen them somewhere before, you're an undercover detective and your watching their every move...or a stalker who's watching their every move, because you love them, because you want to kill them, because they scare you, because you feel AN URGE towards them (especially like that first answer ^_^), or because you simply have nothing better to do. Personally, I would stare at someone if I like them, if I feel an attraction towards them, or if I know them (other reasons too) (I wouldn't stare at them with a BIZARRE, TWISTED LOOK, of course. Not a perverted expression like I'm stripping off their clothes with my eyes. That's stepping into a relationship with the wrong foot...or the laces of your shoe tied to the other...

I stare at people because they are pleasing to look at, and if I don't watch them closely they may change into something that may harm me. I am especially careful around the non-descript people because they want to be unnoticed.
