I know this is silly and I'm a bit embarrassed about it. However, I sometimes feel sad about when I think about the future as I'm at crossroads in my life. I sometimes cry at the innocence of kids films and it's worse if you are a guy like me.

has anyone heard of clapping in each corner of each room of your house to the saint you want in specific to get your wishes? My mom did it and said it worked 3 times just curious if anyone has heard of or had experience with this.

Ok me and my friend made a deal that we both had to ask someone out in the next two weeks but I really do like the girl that I'm gonna ask out and I don't want that later on somebody will tell her that it was all part of a deal or bet or anything like that because what I feel for her is true. I am doing a research paper for U.S history class. I chose the salem witch trial with two other friends. As we were flipping through our textbooks I saw an article about witchcraft and religions related to it (wicca,etc.) interested I read what they had to say and was astonished to find out that the school considered Witchcraft (and wicca) to be a satanic religion that calls upon the devil using human sacrafice!!! As a wiccan and a Witch i found this highly offensive! Other books say similar things in our school library! Is there any way I can convince the school or textbook company to change their minds? I was getting ready to come "out of the broom closet" too! What can i do now? I don't want to keep my religion a secret for fear of discrimination! But i don't want to be called a satanist!

this one is fair - canadians go on about how everybody likes them everywhere. Well yes they are nice. What else though if anything are they known for except igloos - hockey - maple syrup - molson canadian and hockey players. The U.S on the other hand is too vast and on too many levels summarize in one sentence.

So, this woman took the bus I was in. I was sitting, and there were no free seats. She wasn't old at all. In fact I think I was older. But the point is I couldn't really tell if she was pregnant or overweight. Should I have given her my seat, and offend her if she was only overweight?
