agreed, the start of the path of knowledge is figuring out what we dont know and trying to LEARN about it

Actually I would have said that the essence of wisdom is knowing when to use what we know.

Cool, I do that everyday. Does that make me more wise than someone who has studied the bible and refuses to accept that it is more than likely just stories meant to inspire people to be more moral, according to the standards of the time? Hmmmmmmmmm

Works for me. I don't know if it's the end all and be all of wisdom, but it makes sense.

I'm a firm believer in admitting when you don't know something, rather than blustering and lying.
