also known as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity. He is commonly referred to as Jesus Christ, where "Christ" is a Greek-derived title meaning "Anointed One" which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah".
The main sources of information regarding Jesus' life and teachings are the four canonical Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Most scholars in the fields of biblical studies and history agree that Jesus was a Jewish teacher from Galilee (then part of Iudaea) who was regarded as a healer, was baptized by John the Baptist, was accused of sedition against the Roman Empire, and on the orders of Roman Governor Pontius Pilate was sentenced to death by crucifixion.[2] As the Gospels were not written immediately after his death and there is little external documentation, a small minority of scholars question the historical existence of Jesus.[3]
Christian views of Jesus (an area of study known as Christology) are both diverse and complex. Most Christians are Trinitarian and believe that Jesus is simultaneously the Son of God and God made incarnate, sent to provide salvation and reconciliation with God by atoning for the sins of humanity. Nontrinitarian Christians adopt various other interpretations regarding the divinity of Jesus. Most Christians believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, crucified and buried in a tomb,[4] resurrected on the third day of death, and ascended into Heaven where he resides with God the Father until the Second Coming. Most Christians also believe that Jesus performed miracles and fulfilled biblical prophecy.
In Islam, Jesus (Arabic Isa) is considered one of God's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, and also the Messiah. Muslims, however, do not share the Christian belief in the crucifixion or divinity of Jesus. Islam teaches that Jesus was raised bodily to heaven. Most Muslims believe that Jesus will return to the earth as Messiah in the company of the

It's simple:
Jesus was NOT created by The Father, the Trinity existed before time was even created. As a matter of fact, it is Jesus who created the universe, and it is He who offers the love of God to those who would seek Him out. He is the ONLY way out of this pesky universe, there is none else, no other name under the heaven by which we can be saved.
He is the Son of God who came in flesh and blood (under the law) to redeem the humankind , to give them a chance to save themselves. The Son of God had to die because of how terrible our condition is right now, and if one was to do as Jesus did (i.e. follow Him unto calvary) we would be saved, and INHEIRT ALL that God has to offer, and since God is infinite and beyond knowledge, you will NEVER get bored, ever ;)

Its hard to explain because it depends alot in your religious beliefs. To me Jesus Christ died for my sins, he is the reason that we are all still breathing and only through him is that we have eternal life. Hope this helps!

Dear John D. :
"He was a Jew, a simple Jew,. . .A Jew among you. You knew Him in the way one says of a Man: I knew Him in the old days. . .[some of you] brothers of His race and of the same lineage. He shed unique tears over you. He wept over that multitude of you. You saw the color of His eyes: you heard the sound of His words. Of the same lineage. . .[as us, holy sons of God] Eternally." By Charles Pequay
"An elder brother is entitled to respect for his greater experience, and obedience for his greater wisdom. He is also entitled to love because he is a brother, and to devotion IF he is devoted. It is only my devotion that entitles me to yours. There is nothing about me that you cannot attain. I have nothing that does not come from God. The difference between us now is that I have nothing else. This leaves me in a state which is only potential in you."
"I am higher because without me the distance between God and man would be too great for you to encompass. I bridge the distance as an elder brother to you on the one hand, and as a Son of God on the other. My devotion to my brothers has placed me in charge of the Sonship, which I render complete because I share it."
"The name of Jesus is the name of one who was a man but saw the face of Christ in all his brothers and remembered God. . . .
Jesus remains a Savior because he saw the false without accepting it as true." The Christ Nature (God and us - in His Own Likeness) needed his form (body) that He might appear to men and save them from their own illusions.
In His complete identification with the Christ - the perfect Son of God ; God's one joint creation and God's happiness. . .Jesus became what all of you MUST be. " He led the way for you to follow Him. He leads you back to God because He saw the road before Him, and followed it. . . All of your "sins" have been forgiven because they carried no effects at all. " That is because the Resurrection canceled all thoughts of death as real, and because all evil, malice and attack were canceled by it also.
"Is He the Christ? Oh Yes, along with you."
"Jesus is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit had put out - through the Sonship - a Call for one who would cause the Sonship to remember the Father's attributes - and therefore, their OWN. Jesus answered that Call. " He was the first to complete His own part perfectly. All power in heaven and earth is therefore given Him. . ."
