Another answerer wants to compare god to love in the matter of existance. Anyone care to discuss the existance of love?

As love is a concept and a sorta grouping of the ideas of emotion and commitment, I'm not even sure what saying 'love exists' would even mean. Can anyone help me out here?

I'm 26 and my mother tongue was spanish. However, my spanish is so bad because i never speak with anyone using complicated structures and idioms. Add to that the fact that i'm a quiet person, so i don't even talk in length with my parents.don' have mexican friends, don't have american friends. You could suggest i start getting mexican and american friends but i feel like a failure and they would think i'm stupid being that i don't know how to speak at my age. So, how can i ever feel good about myself?

In general( not from any particular religious view)--if there is God
--why he need to be loving, merciful and just? By defination he might be all-powerful, all-knowing and designer and creator of everything
and the first cause. But don't you think the loving,merciful or just--these characteristics are redundant and varies to degrees in different faiths? Logically, if there is God--he might be autocratic
and a bit whimsical. Think that you are a great and all-powerful scientist and you made some robots with artificial intelligence and bits of emotions . How will you behave???

how is the theory of " the big bang" true because it starts with two atoms colliding and a gigantic explosion which made the universe, but where did the atoms come from. They had to come from a higher being, a god. I would like peoples comments on this.

Ive heard many people say that 2 women and 2 men cant have babies. Well, as far as 2 men, no, they can not get pregnant. But they can have a women carry a child for them and raise that child to be a loving and good person. As far as 2 women, hello! We still have the parts, and not only one of us can get pregnant, but both if we want. Just because we dont have sex with men doesnt mean we cant still procreate. So my question is why is it so many people are stuck on the whole "you cant create life so your sinful" crap? Such a double standard. Straight people think that just because they can breed a kid a year they are rightous. Is it so rightous and all to have 13 different baby daddy's? Do you think thats what god wants YOU to do? Sorry about my stupid question, just had to ask.

I've got nothing against potheads, only stupid ones. My vote goes for the stupid potheads who got caught toking in the parking lot adjacent to our office building. Nothing wrong with the sacred ganja, but it's not worth losing our office lease over it. If they're too lazy to go down the street, they shouldn't even be smoking the stuff!

people say a true christian is somone that does less sin or stuff like that-but Jesus says that it is the one that trusts total faith in Him to save and keep them =becomes born again forgiven from sins \

I told my friend this things that matter to me. Like the people that i dont like. Then she goes off and starts talking to them. Then she goes to me and says whats wrong? Are you mad at me? Then the person (that i dont like) starts saying crap about me and then starts picking on my mom, and then later on she asks are you mad at me for hanging out with that person? I told her that she was right there when the person started saying all that crap. And some she looks at me and says i dont remeber that. And i told her how could you not, you were right there when that person said it! What should i do??!
