Ive heard many people say that 2 women and 2 men cant have babies. Well, as far as 2 men, no, they can not get pregnant. But they can have a women carry a child for them and raise that child to be a loving and good person. As far as 2 women, hello! We still have the parts, and not only one of us can get pregnant, but both if we want. Just because we dont have sex with men doesnt mean we cant still procreate. So my question is why is it so many people are stuck on the whole "you cant create life so your sinful" crap? Such a double standard. Straight people think that just because they can breed a kid a year they are rightous. Is it so rightous and all to have 13 different baby daddy's? Do you think thats what god wants YOU to do? Sorry about my stupid question, just had to ask.

Let's also not forget the fact that not all heterosexual couples either want or are able to conceive a child.
Infertile couples must resort to the same exact methods we lesbians and gays have to use.
Surrogacy, invetro/donor...etc.
Also I've heard the argument that with hetero couples its just "assumed" that they will conceive a child and it's by that "assumption" that they are legally superior.

BS, this conveniently excludes hetero couples where the woman is beyond child baring years or where it is known the Male's sperm count is inadequate or he's had a vasectomy.

These couples are not going to conceive a child, but they aren't denied the right to marry.

No, this is purely a form of hatred suffered only to gay/lesbian couples out of ignorance and religious intolerance.

The fact is simply that we can and do have families. These families NEED protections that ONLY legal marriage provides!
Sure, there are living wills, last wills, second parent adoption, domestic partner benefits...etc. But ALL of these options COST, but with legally married couples most of these protections are simply assumed and are FREE.
No amount of legal papers will protect a lesbian/gay partner from being forced to testify against their partner. But in most states, it's illegal to have a legally married spouce testify against the other except in cases of domestic issues.
No amount of legal paperwork will ever allow a domestic partnership to file joint tax returns, save survivors from estate taxes, grant SSI benefits to the other spouce and in many cases private retirement investments &/or pentions to surviving partners.

There are over 1,000 rights, proections and benefits denied to gay/lesbian couples ON A FEDERAL LEVEL ALONE!

I completely think les and gay couples should have children if they wish but people don't accept it very well, instead they accept all the children being raised in abusive households and in foster care being moved from home to home. I think it is ridiculous for people to say that god doesn't accept it and we need to repent, because we can def offer better homes to some children than where they are now. Anyways, I was rambling but it is a very touchy subject

Just to add to your point, if a straight couple is unable to conceive, should they not be allowed to get married? Should they not be allowed to have sex? Should they not be allowed to adopt?

What about women after menopause? They can't have children, so should they not be allowed to have sex anymore? I guess their husbands can't either, because no child can possibly result from that union.

Love between any two people is beautiful, whether it results in babies or not.

it is the same old story..idiots need any argument they can find to support their bigotry..they are so stupid, they don't realize that their very argument is an argument AGAINST their stand. Of course gays can have children...and they are great parents, both sexes. This same argument falls apart when you mention the words, BIRTH CONTROL. According to their ridiculous arguments, those who practice birth control are NOT allowed to be together...AND, regardless of what they rant and rave about, they really are in the minority...we only see the most noisy here.

Suicide in which you have justified it for the greater good in your own mind. Typically this would be killing yourself because you are a threat to others, such as taking a cyanide pill in military engagement to prevent information from being extracted that may result in the deaths of hundreds, thousands, or millions.

Sorry, but you are rambling...Two women and two men CAN NOT have a baby unless there is some type of intervention. PERIOD. Sperm and egg are needed which requires a man somewhere along the line and a woman.
As to the sinful crap...well, I am bi so...
Your statement about 13 differant babies...LOL...Good point.
You won't change the self-rightous people as many have their point of view pounded in their head...A good family is a good family and should be the way to attack their arguements. I heard divorce rates are about 53% now...ummm...

yes, unfortunately, we hear this dozens of times a day. the small-minded, uneducated, self-righteous bigots "use" the Bible to justify the fact that they are nothing but a bunch of hateful homophobes. i have plenty of gay/lesbian friends who have children. and, they are all biological children, so they can rant all they want, but we CAN procreate!
preaching hatred and intolerance is neither a family nor a Christian value...maybe one day these morons will realize that.
