can some of you girls tell me what you look for in a GODLY young man to marry i am a Christian too i go to a Christian school i have to write a list of good Godly characteristices to find in a husband i have some but i i think i need a little need a little help!!!!!!!!!big thanx (btw: i have to have them by tuesday night.aug.27th)

my belifs:a girl and boy should NOT be left alone in a room and they should always always always have a choperone and that you should cort not date.but i need charactoristics things like lovinhg,caring loyal sweet thoughtful of others.stuff like that.thanx!!!!!!!!

Hello! My husband is a preacher! Honest, loving, good with kids, people, strong work values, good with money, pays tithe, good credit, just loving in general, filled with the HOLY SPIRIT! NO drinking or smoking either!

The best advice I can give you is don't, because you are being subtly deceived (brain-washed) into believing that your choice of a husband (when the time comes) is dependent upon religion. That I’m afraid is not only garbage, it could also be a dangerous course of action.

Just follow the obvious. Someone you love who’s just an all round nice, kind and loving guy, who you think would make a good husband and father when the time arrives.

You don’t need any religious garbage to screw up your life, religion has already done enough damage to humanity.

1. Someone who loves God- more than he loves you, because when- not if, but when things go wrong or become hard he'll continue to try and work things out in the realtionship because he knows he has a responsibility to God, and because his love for God is pushing him to do so.

2. A man who treats his mother and sisters like angels- this is key, if he treats his own flesh and blood like crap, then what is he going to treat you like? It also shows that he has insecurities whether it be low self esteem or too much self-esteem (prideful), either way- that imbalance is going to be detramental. He's not comfortable enough with himself to treat himself well- and in turn treat you well.

3. Look for someone who is responsible when you go out to eat on a date, does he invite along a chaperone, do you both drive your own car, or ride in the same car, which is a recipe for disaster, is he touchy feely- or does he respect your space and privacy? Also knowing what type of job he has does he take you to the most exspensive restaruant or to a nice moderately priced spot? This will show you somewhat where his priorites are, and what he's concerned about showing you as well as other people, what he has, or about staying within budget while having a nice time. If he is a big spender but doens't have the job to go along with it, then your in for trouble because after marraige the pattern is going to be the same and you'll be in debt in no time, with no hope of getting out of your financial rutt!

Religion shouldn't be a factor in marriage. You should marry out of love.

That being said, physical attractiveness and intelligence are nice, along with honesty and loyalty.
