this one is fair - canadians go on about how everybody likes them everywhere. Well yes they are nice. What else though if anything are they known for except igloos - hockey - maple syrup - molson canadian and hockey players. The U.S on the other hand is too vast and on too many levels summarize in one sentence.

Well, at least Canada hasn't been in a lot of wars or anything like that. A lot of people hate Americans, but how many countries hate Canada? Not very many. I would not mind living in Canada.

Here are some famous Canadians: Avril Lavigne, Howie Mandel, Celine Dion, Pamela Anderson, Jim Carrey, Sarah McLachlan, etc.

They say their o's funny. Yes, THEY have an accent.

You might be watching a great tv show, such as the late lamented Forever Knight (moment of silence), then all of a sudden, they use the word about. And you go, "Wait! Those people are Canadian!"

In case it's not clear, I really have NO opinion of Canadians. If I did have one, I'm sure it would be positive.

It is known for having a pretty sane government, they don't go off and start wars for fun, they have national health care meaning you save a ton of money on medical expenses of all kinds, they have fantastically beautiful scenery, they have never seen fit to build a prison based economy like the US has and like the USSR had before it went bankrupt.
