If the people who ran the country you lived in said that you had to either abandon your religion, leave the country, or be put to death, what would be your choice?

The pictures on TV of the bombed people, cities and towns of Lebanon are almost beyong belief and too terrible to behold. And all without an ultimatum and for the kidnapping of two soldiers who are still alive and well.

Is that not a lesson to Iran on what terrible things can happen to countries which do not have atomic weapons? How can we be so selfish and naive as to expect other countries to accept double standards? What kind of justice do we believe in? If atom bombs are bad for some, they are bad for all.
I would be grateful for the religious views on this .

Quran is the literal word of Allah

islam is a tolerant and peaceful religion

mohomed was a very kind, decent holy prophet who is the messenger of Allah

islam is the only true religion, while all other religions are bull dust

women in islam are free

Quran is compatible with modern science

islam is a religion of mercy and human rights

I know this is a long shot but.... one was black, i think called Pierre and wore shades a lot and one was tall and jewish with dark hair and a there was a shorter one with darkish hair. They stayed at the Generator about 4 to 6 weeks ago. I need to ask one of them something.

When visiting a new church, how do you respond to the service when it is different than your own? Do you sit back and observe and try and sing the songs even if you do not know the tune or do you sit and observe how they do things?
How do you respond to the service if something in the service: music, sermon, etc - does NOT move you? Do you fake it or do you remain true to yourself?
Is there a right way or wrong way to behave when visiting a new church? If so, describe.

this a concerned black mormon. how does one look to the future as a single adult with the question of interracial marriage still an issue for some members and most singles known to myself(granted members are humans and are capable of mistakes). marriage we believe is a very important aspect of our missions here on earth, but honestly prospects of marriage are dim for those of us with a different skin colour or originating from a different culture and please correct me if im wrong. not looking to discredit my church in anyway but it is a great hindering factor for family or friends of the ethnic minority who wish to know more about our church
