Look man, I realize everyone deals with grief in their own way. Your way really sucks! Best thing for you to do is say nothing at all. Having just lost my mother, after watching her suffer a painful drawnout death ,I can honestly say that had you said any of those comments to me, then or now for that matter, God help you! Once someone pried my fingers from around your throat you would be joining my mother. Judging by your lack of compassion and cold heartedness the world would be a better place with out a jerk like you.

My condolences. Finished.
People at a funeral really want to be left alone, so the shorter you keep your messages, the more they'll appreciate it. Often subconciously.
