Why is it that I loudly hear two points of view in Canada:

- one is that Canada basically sucks and can do no right, and that the USA is Number One in everything. American things are the best; Canadian things suck.

- the other is that the US sucks, and no matter what American things are to be avoided at all costs. If American things cannot be avoided, then no problem - you can still enjoy those things and even use them to b**** at the USA.

I can't tolerate either extreme, yet the vast majority of folks I talk to seem to take one of these two stances. Sometimes I have heard a bit of both from the same person, depending on what is being discussed!!

What's wrong with this country?

I have trouble understanding how we the created have the audacity to determine whether or not God is Just or Moral. I find that the people that hate religion the most, spend most of their days talking about or arguing about religion. I have a lot to think about concerning this matter, but I am open to honest interpretations of the responders heart

...is it because you think it's a sin? How much do your religious beliefs influence your position on drug crminalization? I'm referring not so much to whether you want to use them yourself, but whether you would have the law prevent others from using them.

First of all, I too am a Christian and am somewhat upset about all the other questions and answers I find here. This site could be wonderful if it was used to stimulate a little research into Gods' Word. This is the purpose of my question and I would hope I can see more like it in the future. Where in the Bible does it indicate that time was moved backward? All other users, I don't mean to offend you. I just want my opportunity to inspire other Christians to get into the Bible.

Whatever is being spewed into the atmosphere via airplanes (see: chemtrails) is affecting people in either of these two ways:
They either grow larger in girth, with an equal reduction in IQ (i.e. they become fat and dumb) or they grow fearful & paranoid, and see everything as a huge conspiracy.

I'm so frustrated with people trying so hard to evangelize through Yahoo! Answers. While I understand it's a great opportunity, can't it be done in a more rational way than emotional? It's the pushy Christians that give Christianity a bad name. Just curious.

some people read a nice question and tell you thanks thats a nice question and give you a genuine answer,

then there are like these rabid Christians, its not all Christians, but there like these rabid dogs, and they just answer every one of my questions in a following manner, paraphrasing:

bark bark
you need jesus
bark bark
your religion is futile unless you have jesus
bark bark

Does anyone else get that in your questions, this pack of people that have no respect for any body's faith in something besides Jesus? And just tell you "bark bark jesus bark bark"

I enjoy being open, honest and frank in my answers, and I even enjoy being a bit of a flirt, but why do you see this as an invite to IM me and expect me to have cyber sex with you? For the most part you are gentlemen, thank you for that, but I am simply not intested in what some of you apparently have in mind. Then why would he allow young children to be born with horrible disabilities?? And don't tell me it's his will. It's nobody's will that a child should suffer. Why would he do this???

It seems to me that the initial love can fade, and that a marriage based on love with no commitment to get through the bad times is more likely to end in divorce.

But if a marriage is based on commitment to one another, it seems that love would naturallly follow this and is more likely to be a marriage that lasts for a lifetime.

Do you agree or disgree and why?
