First: Jesus' name appears 164 times in the Old Testament, within 158 verses. It first appears at Genesis 49:18: "I have waited for your salvation, O LORD!" Jesus' name is Yeshua, which means Salvation.
Second: The major OT references to Jesus are at Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53, but there are many others. Because He was God's Word (John 1:1-3), He actually dictated much of the OT, including the visions given to prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel.
I hope this helps.

Jesus is throughout the Old Testament. He spent a few hours on the Emmaus Road talking to disciples who did not recognize Him after His Resurrection.
The prophecies concerning Jesus, or when deity spoke in the form of "the angel of the Lord" start in Genesis and run through all the prophets.
First Prophecy? Genesis 3:15

There were prophecies in the -what you call the OT(it is our Holy Scriptures)-but none stated specifically a Jesus Christ. You can interpret it to be that if you want, but it does not say that.
The Messiah of prophecy will not be G-d, but, a human being-one among us at the time he is to appear.
Many Reform Jews take these prophecies to mean when people have learned to live in peace and it is a Messianic Age, and not a specific person. Most Orthodox Jews take it that we have to get to the point of living as closely as possible in peace and good will to mankind, and then the Messiah will come. But, we have to make ready for his coming.

He's all over the OT. Psalms, Isaih, almost too many to list. they don't mention Him by name of course, but in deed and Messiah prophecy.
Visions? I don't think He spoke in any visions. But it is amazing if you read through the books of the Prophets how many things jump out and make you say, "Whoa! That describes what Jesus did or what happened to Jesus!"
Great Question. You have some exciting research ahead of you.

From the beginning to the end of the Old Testament, in Psalms, Isaiah and remember we worship the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God The Holy Spirit. It was Jesus who spoke with Adam and Eve in Genesis in the Garden.
The problem that is all important is your relationship with God. The problem with everyone is Sin. I am a Born-Again-Christian, and have been in life or death experiences in the Armed Forces as well as civilian life. I suggest you seek Jesus Christ, ask Him sincerely to come into your life and God will provide you with all your answers. You have to have that personal experience with Christ to enjoy the benifits of living for Him and with Him. The Holy Spirit will guide you through your life and keep you safe, but will also give you the understanding to know what is Truth.
Everything in the Bible is coming to a head and Christ will return soon, don't be left out, get into pointless discussions, join a Bible Study group, there is a world out there that needs to be told about Christ. Because many people have distorted the truth and confused many about religion. I don't see my Christian Faith as being a religion, but rather a way of life, ending in Eternal Life with God in Heaven.
Just remember that the greatest scientific minds in the world cannot explain why, "A Black cow, that eat's Green grass, produses White milk that makes Yellow butter" Just let go....and let God....!

There are no references to Jesus in the OT, and the 'hundreds of prophecies' Christians like to claim for him are mostly not even Messianic prophecies.
Isaiah 53 is the source of many of these such claims, and it isn't even about the Messiah. Isaiah 49 explicitly explains that the suffering servant is the nation of Israel. Early Christians (and later ones too) took passages completely out of context from the OT and invented a new theology from them. This is what the Logos concept is really all about.

Isaiah. However, (as you know) Jesus is never mentioned by name in the OT. However, the messiah is described, and Jesus fits that description.
