"Llamar" also refers to phone calling. It's so funny that there's an Advertising campaign in Argentina called: "La llama que llama".

If you're talking to llamas the word loco might be more appropriate

OK. If you asked the llama, the correct way would be "Como se llama usted?" However, because the llama won't answer, you could ask its owner, and the correct way would be: "Cómo se llama la llama?"

hahahaha yes you are right...but we would never say "la llama se llama llama" it´s ok in grammar but we use the verb llamar/ in this case llama to refer to names (also in pets ) so if the llama has a name it would be ok to say it...for instance...
como se llama la llama?
la llama se llama Jo
remember only if the pet or animal has a name or nickname

¿cuál es su nombre? - although yours would work too...but would you say "como se llama, humano?" to a person? NO - so it's probably Unecessary to say it to a LLAMA - ACTUALLY - the entire thing is unecessary considering llama's don't speak........duh!
