There isn't really a favorite answer since believers are not interested (indeed probably quite frightened of) rational thought and analysis. They have nothing more to offer than unthinking, blind belief and hence just spout absurdities from the bible (or whatever) to prop up their delusion so any answer will just get bounced by their reality rejection filters.

My favourite Religous answer is that Islam means submission to almighty God and that is to comply with His orders and to abstain from forbidden things.

But what is the proper way of submission to God and what are his orders and what are the forbidden things, and above all from where can we get the proper in formation?

There are many religions in this world and their followers relentlessly claim that their religion is true and genuine. They are also very confident that they follow the right way which will lead them towards salvation.

No religion admits that it leads it followers on a path laid down by wicked Devil. In such cases what a man should do?

Normally the young generations follow their predecessors, closing their eyes and closing their minds without giving any serious thought on weather that their predecessors were right wrong?They have changed almost every thing done by their predecessors, but have remained stuck to their way of worship.

Even they have not cared to take a casual look into the numerous contradictions found in their religion. It cuts even a more sorry figure, when their educated elites too, Instead of giving a proper thought to it, and trying to hide purely fictitious legends under some logical cover of philosophies. Though they know too well that by doing so, they do like ostrich that put its head under the dust and thinks that hunter does not see it. If they are fully aware that such a behavior does not save the ostrich from the clutches of the hunter, then how can they feel safe from the hand of the almighty God Who knows everything and sees all things?

Here comes before us the need to see what Islam says about the human life and what it offers for the welfare of the mankind.

Islam assures the people that it has the Divine way stipulated by the Benevolent God and guided by his true prophets that ensures success both in the world and in the Hereafter.

Islam claims that it holds the most balanced way of life, which takes life closer to God. As far as the other ways are concerned, Islam warns explicitly that all such ways other than Islam, are deviated and laid down by a wicked Devil, the eternal enemy of mankind who himself has strayed and now tries hard that the man, the most prime creature of God, also be strayed.

Let us not waste this best but a very short opportunity we have in this world to offer our submission to God otherwise we will not be able to secure peace and comfort for our cternal life.

The most Benevolent God has bestowed us with Three most precious bounties, now it is our duty to avail of them:

1) Righteous nature
2)Divine book of Holy Quran
3)Holy Messenger of God
