ROFLMAO
in the void, not in space, God could use all but a small bit of himself to make a rock say 1000 times this universe in size, and still move it around in the void!

and in the forever before may have already!

If God is Omnipitant- Can he make a rock So big not even he could lift it?

ahahahaha

Yes, since he is omnipotent he should be able to create a rock so big he can't lift it. If i were
God i would then make you so strong that you could lift it for me.Then I'd take my power back because you would probably abuse it.

Have a blessed day.

I don't believe in God myself. However, if God existed and was omnipotent, then he could not make a rock so big he could not lift it. This is because the 'is hard to lift' property is a negative, something you CAN'T do rather than something you CAN do. Negative properties do not affect an omnipotent being, so God can always lift the rock (although he could choose not to).

Benny, God is the rock.

God is not in the universe She is the universe.

She created the universe from the only thing that She had available, Herself.

You and the most distant star from you in the universe both exist within the idea of God.

This is a difficult concept for most people to comprehend because they have been taught nonsense about God. Like the idea that God lives far away on a cloud called heaven. God is not a raindrop. Raindrops live in clouds Not God. This is foolishness.

Jesus told us that the kingdom of God is within us. This is true because each and every one of us exist as a part of God. We live and move within our loving source. There is no moment or possibility that we can ever be apart from her.

Forget the silly stories that you have been told about a distant God that lives in the clouds. Look around you. Everything that you see is God.

Love and blessings.
Don

There is no if. God is Omnipotent and I believe He has other things to take care of ,then making a rock he can move to satisfy the curiosity of the simple minded.

PS Check out the universe He created. God Bless You !

Probably not. I mean, he couldn't stop a storm from destroying New Orleans, or he couldn't stop buildings in New York from collapsing on 9/11 (wouldn't you think he is the Great Architect, Engineer & Intervener?) So why would you wonder if he could lift a huge rock? And why would he want to do so, anyway?

God can do anything do-able. He can't make a four-sided triangle or a married bachelor.

We could be here all day talking about what God could do; the more important question is, what did He say that He would do? Read the Bible.

The answer depends on Your concept of God and your understanding of omnipetence.

Ask God.

Personally I do not think that the God does anything beneath the God's majesty.

No, and he couldn't make a four-sided triangle. It doesn't erase God's omnipotence if he works within our definitions of "do-able."

Besides, I kind of liken that to humanity's sin problem. He created us, but we rejected him in sin, and he could no longer commune with us in his perfect Heaven. Heavy problem. However, he sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sin and take away our sin, so we are reconnected with our creator. Bada bing, he lifts it.

It's stretching the metaphor, but I'd say, knowing God, yeah. He probably could do even that.

No. This is the simple proof that the concept of 'omnipotence' is not coherent. Similar disproofs can be made for the other 'omni' qualities attributed to god.
