Hey didnt you just give me 10 points in the other question? Well since you didnt get the answer you were looking for i'll have another crack.
Henry VIII committed adultery - fact.
Divine sanction to adultery - well depends what you believe.
Henry VIII allowed himself the power to forgive because he was head of the Church of England. He gave his own brand of forgiveness out to himself, but I hardly believe it possible that his people - the majority of whom were Catholic at the time would have appreciated that. He gave sanction to himself, not the overall religion.
ETA: and you asked this:
"Since God made humans have sex in order to multiply, is anything more important than sex and reproduction?"
doesnt that come back on your point a bit?

No, what Henry VIII did was to create the Church of England so he could have Divine sanction to divorce one wife and marry another who could give him a son.
The sad part of the whole thing was he sired numerous bastard sons, but couldn't seem to get a legitimate one. Too bad he couldn't have just tapped one of the bastards on the head and said, "Okay. You get the kingdom when I kick off."

Henry was always commiting adultery. He cheated on his first wife many times and had several children with his several mistresses. He divorced Kathrine only because he needed to marry someone else in order to have a legitimate son with someone else who was of child bearing age. He seperated England from the Church and made himself head of church and state.

I don't know that he did get his hands on her duckies before they were wed. So I'm not certain that he committed adultery other than that, by seceding the church of England from that in Rome, sothat he could divorce his first wife, he probably committed adultery in the Eyes of the Roman Catholic Church.

henry got the hots for a lady who would not put out without a wedding ring. All he wanted to do was to get rid of his fat catholic wife and g et a nice young woman who could have babies and give him a nice time and it all got out of hand.. I think the expression is is all went pear shaped. All he really wanted was a young piece of stuff and babies. particularly a son and heir
all the rest just sort of happened. Poor Henry didnt get anything really.

Henry grew to become into preoccupied with perpetuating a Tudor dynasty, with no longer dropping the prize his father had gained to three different abode. as an occasion, an obtrusive answer to his situation of no male inheritor could have been to make the concern and descendants of his sister Margaret, who had married a King of Scotland, the heirs. inspite of the undeniable fact that, while it got here right down to it, he particularly excluded Margaret's descendants. Why? on account that would have given the English throne to Scotland and the abode of Stuart. The irony, needless to say, is that a Stuart finally took the throne besides. because of the fact of this Henry grew to become into so aggravating to get a healthy male inheritor -- for the sake of the Tudor dynasty he had to make specific, and for the sake of his very own ego the two as a Tudor and as a guy. I might desire to factor out that being aggravating to father a male inheritor grew to become into by using no potential unusual on the time. It grew to become into what all kings had to do, in part because of the fact maximum folk have been skeptical that girls persons might desire to rule and in part because of the fact the shortcoming of an inheritor with sparkling and specific rights might desire to concern a rustic, after a king's dying, to civil conflict, something England had confronted till now. No king had to depart the style of messy legacy.
