I keep seeing people refer to others that way as a way of sounding more helpful or something. But it's really starting to get out of hand. I think a few people saw others calling others that and have latched on to the trend. It's getting old, and it's a little patronizing most times (though not all... with some people you get the feeling they genuinely care and that it's a word they use in real life too.) But there are those people who answer with a sarcastic answer and put a "hun" at the end, and it's usually girls. Why do people do it? If you do it, is it natural, or did you only start doing it on YA?

y do athiests and nonbelivers and such, constantly challange believers with bible related questions and such? y do they care? y dont they ask muslims similar questions? if all religions r the same to them how come they dont argue with buddests about the 8 steps to heaven or whatever? y r they so agry that we belive in something? y do they think that just becuase we choose to believe something we have all the answers to life? y do they insult our christianity as if it had anything to do with them? y dont they mind their busines and let us belive what we want, like we let them belive what they want? how come they read the bible so much?
maybe they should b called Jesus haters instead?

I left my umbrella at my workplace. I didn't have my name on it as who puts their name on their umbrella?? I didnt realize it till I got home late and the store was already closed. I go in the next day and find out the umbrella was sold to someone (we have a rack of umbrellas for sale not far from where I left mine on the table. Of course it didn't have a tag on it but in retail it is common to scan a similiar item to get a price ringup. I really need my umbrella because I have to walk to work and the busstop so if it is raining, I can't go to work. Everyone is too busy to do anything about it. Is there a way to be remembursed for my employer selling my property. I have the cover to the umbrella so they know they sold it as it is a unique print . I know it sounds like a dumb question but it is 25 dollar umbrella and I need it or my money.

7Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

If you believe in the Catholic church and Jesus comes to you in a vision and says "stem cell research is okay" what do you believe.

Jesus may want to let you in on some great truth that the Catholic church opposes. Or it may be the devil in disguise.

The thing is what if it's Jesus for real and the church is wrong? Do you spit in Jesus's face because the church tells you to. Do you call Jesus the Devil because his holy and true words conflict with man's interpretation of man's written word?

And say it's not stem cells but something less controversial
"women priests" or something else.

What would you think and how could you be sure?

If you answer that religion holds all the truth and so unless the apparition agrees 100% with church doctrine it's the devil. Then how was the early church supposed to believe a word Jesus said, cause it went against jewish doctrine?

Tell us how you would do it. ( I chose an Alien as your audience, because he/she presumably would not have an IOTA of an idea. )

Fellow non-believers, I know you must be as frustrated as I am at Christians who assume we know nothing about Christianity because we haven't read their holy book. I've read the bible multiple times, and it still hasn't convinced me to convert. How about you guys?

My husband and I are being asked to relocate to San Francisco with our 7-month old daughter. We love the Twin Cities and aren't really familiar with San Francisco. What are some pro and cons on San Fran? Thanks!

It has been reported recently people are finding so called images of this person everywhere. From a knot in some wood to chocolate. If no one has every seen her how can they say it's her? Like photo's of Jesus. It 's not possible to know what he looked/lookes like. It's scary so many people are so, well, you fill in the blank.

I think just like heaven there is a realm in which faeries, unicorns, elves -and other 'magical' creatures live. Why is it so hard to believe? We do not have all the answers to this life, although we often are too rational to believe this.

Any one have a chapter and verse on that? If you think I am just making that up to offend Christians who admire the great healing work that Benny Hinn profits from, watch the video for yourself. Is this a new doctrine for the latter day church? Something stinks about it, if you ask me. Maybe you more spiritual types can explain.

"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering." -- 1 Corinthians 11:14-15
