If you believe in the Catholic church and Jesus comes to you in a vision and says "stem cell research is okay" what do you believe.

Jesus may want to let you in on some great truth that the Catholic church opposes. Or it may be the devil in disguise.

The thing is what if it's Jesus for real and the church is wrong? Do you spit in Jesus's face because the church tells you to. Do you call Jesus the Devil because his holy and true words conflict with man's interpretation of man's written word?

And say it's not stem cells but something less controversial
"women priests" or something else.

What would you think and how could you be sure?

If you answer that religion holds all the truth and so unless the apparition agrees 100% with church doctrine it's the devil. Then how was the early church supposed to believe a word Jesus said, cause it went against jewish doctrine?

If you spoke with Jesus in a vision it brings about a warmth with joyful tears and uncontrollable laughter. Your heart is filled with love true genuine love. you see fault in no one. Everyone is as one no anger no hatred just heartfelt love. It is a joyful love that u want always. Devil in a vision is when you say this is 2 good 2 be true well it is. Devil always paint a pretty picture with a great outcome but the after effects is so unrewarding. Ex: Take that last drink I promise God it will be my last. You may be married and in the past you always love that 1 someone who never noticed u and u never forgotten that person. Now that u are married all of a sudden who appears in your life that someone who never notice u before. Devil in a vision forces u to make hasty decisions that can cause u a lifetime of pain. When u have to decide well it is only this one time and my last that is the Devil. God in vision you never have to decipher he steers u in the right path.

Was there a burning bush involved? Just kidding.

Thomas Jefferson and few other founding fathers were deist. They believed if only when you are able to free yourself of all want and desires, can you know the mind of God. In other words, ignore any preconceived notions that may have generated from social, political, and religious grounds and ask if it would be best for everyone concerned.

The dearly departed no longer has needs for its organs and many lives are saved because of the organ donor program. Is the debate over the age of an individual that the tissue comes from?

I am a Christian, but I don't believe in the Roman Catholic church's teachings. The thing is Jesus can read your heart, the devil cannot. Jesus doesn't do visions, but if He did; Jesus would know how to appear to someone in such a way that it is undoubtedly Him. If I have a doubt, it's the devil.

well you have to be able to be discerning to know what is coming from God and what is from the devil. For me the best way i have found is if you have a feeling of peace when Jesus or the apparition of Jesus speaks to you then it is Jesus, God, or an angel. If you do not feel peace but anxiety or fear then it is from the devil, satan or a demon speaking to you. I do not think that any church teaching is absolutely right on everything i think every church has a little bit right and a little bit wrong.

This is an easy question.......if you ACTUALLY read the Bible.....all questions, whether asked by Jesus or the Devil MUST line up with the Word of God. Since the Devil WILL never line up with the word of God, this should not be hard. And BTW, if you actually do a little research into the Bible, ALL OF MAN'S QUESTIONS AND PROBLEMS DO have the answer between the two covers.

Jesus won't come to you in a vision. God has said all that He has to say to the human race in the Bible. The church isn't the final authority on any matter, only God and His written word are. Try reading it. If you are having visions or apparitions they are coming from the devil and are trying to persuade you to turn your back on the truths taught in the Bible.

The Holy Bible is God's word.
He will not go against His word.
If you have a vision and it tells you to go against the Bible, it is not of God.
If it says to do something that is in the Bible and not against the LAw,
Like killing someone, it is of God.
However, ask for a confirmation before proceeding.
OLAY!

Jesus doesn't do 'personal appearances' - until we hear Gabriel's horn - then look up.

You probably aren't evil enough to rate a one-on-one encounter with the ruler of this world, so I would say what you are envisioning (if you aren't hallucinating) is a demon of some sort.

Don't put anything it gives you into your mouth!
