laws of Islam? And why are the “peaceful” Muslims doing nothing about it?

I am a Christian, and if I knew a member of my church was committing hate crimes, I would turn them in to authorities IN A HEARTBEAT—even if it were my own family member. If I knew someone who was training innocent children to be HATEMONGERS, I would turn them in. If I suspected someone of planning a horrible attack, I would turn them in. I would not stand by and look the other way while people I know and even care about, are causing death and destruction. I find it hard to believe there are two separate groups of Islam—one “good” and one “bad” and none of them are related or know each other or communicate with each other?

I am so tired of hearing about “racial profiling” and how unfairly Muslims are being treated. It is not enough to say, “Not all Muslims are terrorists!”

In the book of James, it talks about the only acceptable form of religion being taking care of widows and children, and giving to the poor. The Bible agrees with you...why are you antagonistic toward those who talk about their faith, not their organized religion?

Am I the only person who can see how the Big Bang could have occurred when God spoke. I know we can observe differentiation within genetic boundaries. I just have issues with biological macroevolution. I don't embrace the Gap Theory. My finite brain can only embrace so much on faith. I mean, a theory is a hypothesis that has been tested over and over again with positive results. Micro has been adequately tested and observed. Truly, macro hasn't been tested and observed over and over again with positive results. I dunno. Maybe I just don't have enough faith. I also differentiate evidence and proof. In terms of the Big Bang, there would have to be an outside cause for the origin. I would hazard to say that He who exists beyond time and space... Well. You know what I mean. Just want to see if I am alone out there on this. I realize that only 40% of scientists believe in a God who answers prayers.

Why someone answers questions in Religion & Spirituality by saying that people shove religion down their throats? and you wonder how you going to cope living your like that throughout your life. and you worry about things like;will you finally give up God along the way and go to hell when you die? will your family members just give up on you and leave you because you are an embarassment to them ?will you finally lose it from all the hopeless and lonely feeling that keeps building up inside and end up in a mental institution ,uncared and dirty? will you die alone and no loved ones by your death bed? will you be in anyone's prayers? will there be anyone to put flowers on your grave?

And worse, He advocates His followers do the same things. Then it all gets turned around and twisted to where if your not in "my" church you go to hell. Why is it OK to smoke, kill, steal. curse, etc but not OK to NOT go to your church or embrace the beliefs of your religion? If smoking is of the devil why does the bible say God loves to smell (inhale) the incense in the temple. If Thou shalt not kill (because it's of the devil) why does God [and his people in His name]? If theft is of the devil, why did God tell Mosses to clean out the Egyptions when he left.? If cursing is of the devil why did Jesus curse the tree? I don't get it. Does anyone here get it??????

My greatest fear is that we shall all oscillate between life and death through all Eternity. With each new life comes the opportunity to experience What Religious people call HELL. It is all regardless of how good or bad anything is. Each new life being totally isolated from the previous. If we happen to be intellegent we will be forced to learn everything all over again and again and again and yet again....USW till time ends. I was looking for a specialty group called PHILOSOPHY but was unable to find it so I just posted this here. PLEASE tell me your fears no matter how bizzare.

the only ones who say marijuana isn't addictive are the ones who are PSYCHOLOGICALLY addicted to it themselves. sure it's not physically addictive like heroin or alcohol, but some people REALLY do get a psychological addiction which causes them the need to go find it everyday, and to use it to make things seem fun. And it may not be an addiction to THC itself, just an addiction to the escape, or the need of alteration, i know many who are addicted to marijuana, but since it isn't physically addictive and only mildly psychologically addictive, they can have a couple days of alcohol binge instead. why wont people learn? OFCOURSE however, i think marijuana should be legal over alcohol, it's just stupid it isn't the other way around, alcohol is MANY times more destructive, and marijuana has legitemate medical uses, i'm just saying, when it gets to the point where you're freaking out because you can't find a quarter bag, blowing everyone else off until you find it THATS AN ADDICTION...
