Athiests don't always think the same, or believe what they believe for exactly the same reasons. There is no unified athiest doctrine. Personally, I'm not down with the dogmatism. The blind faith in an absoulte truth, no matter what. I'm all for taking care of children and giving to the poor...but these abrahamic organized religions seem to be spending much more time arguing they are right and fighting with themselves.

A religious organization is a social club with political influence. There are such clubs that don't involve religion, but religion definitely has them too. Atheists aren't "picking on" religious people for belonging to social clubs.
