My portuguese class will start one week tomorrow...I checked with the school and the staff told me that the teacher is from Portugal not Brazil. So I wonder what's the major difference between Portugal and Brazilian Portuguese? WHich one is more complicated?

I found out recently that i just don't feel like I know how to act in GLBT areas of my life. I am a bisexual/ mostly attracted to guys. Whenever I have to talk to someone gay or bi. I completely have no idea what to talk about. I feel like its a big group I'm in but know nothing about. Anyone have any advice.

i have a friend that is my room mate and when i went into my apartment he was in the bathroom putting on make up he was in a wig and everything he even had false boobs he had a pink sweatshirt on and had a skirt and pantyhose and heels it was really feaky i don't think he is gay i know that he has never had a girlfriend i am just really confused

It takes a bigger person not to commit the sin at all, you douche bags. To make long story short, if you're not married and having sex you're going to hell, confession or no confession. And if you're married and don't have 12 kids you're going to hell too because you're using birth control, sinners. I have studied some Egyptian mythology and have found some of these, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I have seen them all because I never tried to compare the two. I only had a basic study of it.

Many years ago I watched a movie titled "Masada," Christians (I believe) were trapped on a hilltop & the Romans were about to take them. The people agreed to commit suicide to ensure they would go with God & not be touched by their enemy.
This would put a twist in the theory that suicide is a sin.

OK I'm a christian but i don't believe condemning any one i have enough sins of my own to worry about then to tell u that u have some . plus the fact i don't believe in hell so why is it that some of u can't do the same. i have been coming in here for some time now and i see all these Christians condemning Jews, Muslims, even other Christians along with atheist . but why since when did Jesus ever tell us to become judge and jury for every religion out there . I'm pretty sure that Jesus said for us not to judge others so why can't we follow his orders ? i mean god doesn't want us to come to him because somebody says your going to hell he wants us to because it was our choice.

I live in a duplex so they are the only neighbors attached to me, so loud last night..but I managed to ignore it, I did have to tell them to be quiet Friday night and I did not feel like getting out of bed to do it again, so we wake up this morning to the back patio area being trashed..and the privacy fence that was there is in pieces now..puke in the driveway, I mean come on, we have 2 kids and I have told them all of this before..so do you think it is wrong or ok to call the landlord on this.

Muslims regularly say that the Bible is full of contradictions. As a Christian I find these verses from the Qur'an and Sunnah contradicting each other. It's as if the Sunnah was written as an after thought.

A long comes the Sunnah that says: [Sunnah] The Messenger of Allah (saas) said, "One who kills a non-Muslim person under protection (Arabic: dhimmi) will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise."

If the Qur'an is perfect what was the need for Muhammad to write the Sunnah and contradict some of the verses?
Isn't it understandable why many Muslims are not being disobedient but are just confused?

In my local running club that puts on most of the local races, there is a group of fast finishers who continually do their cool down walking on the course while mid pack runners like me are still finishing the race. Yesterday, the fab four were walking 4 abreast and I had to cross the yellow double line to go around them. I actually have a photo of it that a race photographer took. It just infuriates me. my poor husband talked me down from totally going off on them. What do I do? Just shut up and get over it or what??
