Once the world pollutes a natural resource, humanity will find a way to chemically 'purify' it and sell it. What do you think will be next on the list of 'purified' natural resources?

you have a point and as the air gets more polluted people with respiratory ailments will need bottled air more in the future,as those with asthma.these hot and humid days make breathing difficult for many that already have a machine that produces oxygen and refills their bottles.to us that have healthy lungs we too will need to have these machines in the future if life continues.it seems that no scientific organization is working on a cure for the hole in the ozone layer but i read that the hole is repairing on its own.im not ready to except that statement unless divine intervention is at hand.GOD does work miracles.

The earth can only take so many people. When the carrying capacity is met and exceeded, there will be more problems than just water. Some think 20 billion people to 40 billion people.

The problem is, oil will be long gone before we reach that stage, so the carrying capacity will likely drop dramatically.

This will result in war, famine, and other unpleasantries.

So your question is really not applicable to the situation. We can bottle whatever we want, but it won't help with the end problem of carrying capacity and fossil fuels.

So, I conclude that it is pointless to really sweat that.
