when someone says something to you jokingly do you have a witty/funny comeback instantly or are you like me
and you think of the funniest comeback to say but usually it's a day or week later? I'm the worst for thinking on my feet.

Hahaha I like this question. I would have to say, I'm a bit delayed in the comeback department. Like sometimes I'm still thinking of a conversation I had days ago and I'm slapping myself in the face (not literally!) thinking "Why didn't I say that?" But then there's those other times where I say the funniest thing at just the right time...okay nevermind, that never happens.

It depends on the situation. If I know they will not get offended or upset I come back rather quickly. But there are times when I think of a comeback later that day that would have been even better. And there are times when I have a comeback and decide not to say anything because of the person getting offended. or It being in my best interest to shut up.

Naw, I always wake up out of a sound sleep at four o'clock in the morning several days afterward and suddenly think of the most brilliant comeback that I could have used.

It honestly depends on how I'm feeling, the day of the week, how tired I am, etc. LOL I'm sometimes very quick with a comeback, but other times, stand there with a goofy look on my face and nothing to say. ;)

I'm pretty fast and it's gotten me into more trouble than I care to admit but that's not what you're really asking so here's my advice for
when words fail you...
Look the other guy up and down and laugh like it was really funny then stop abruptly and walk away.
People will think you're a little crazy of course...never said it was perfect.

It really depends. I don't really have any reason for comebacks online but with friends I'm usually quick.

i'm slow at comebacks. sometimes one will shoot out and my husband will laugh for days about it...because it's not like me to think of something witty on the spot.

I'm pretty quick at comebacks, but I usually hesitate to say them since many of mine are in situations where I don't dare say them....
