You are a liar. It does NOT say that in the Bible. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself for writing crap like that.

Where do you people come up with this stuff? Why, just once, doesn't someone actually read the Bible before they ask stuff like this? That apparently they twist in their own brain, because it's not in any Bible that I ever read. 1.) It says our prayers and praises are like an incense to Him. 2.) God doesn't kill, he just doesn't always stop Satan from doing what he will. 3.) God telling Moses to clean out the Egyptians befor leaving? That's a new one on me. Not in any Bible I read. Of course, there was probably at least one thief in the country, maybe he took something. 4.) As for cursing the tree, I vaguely remember something to that affect, but without knowing right where it's at, I can't read it. However, I will say that God made this world, and he could destroy it tomorrow if he wants to. It is thanks to Jesus' that we are still being given the opportunity for eternal life. Some people are blind to the truth. If you really want to understand, then pray for your eyes to be opened, and for knowledge. God will show you. Also if the Bible is confusing for you, you can try a modern version, but either way, the more you read it, the easier it becomes to read and understand. If you have the sincere desire to learn and know. God will show you. I hope this helps you, I will say a prayer for you.

Okay you obviously know the Bible and that's a good start. But here let me answer your questions. Okay about the church thing, because there's been so many seperations and thing like that that is why there's so many "churches" to me the real church is not a building but a group of people who are for the Lord and are longing for His return. And nobody said that it was OK to smoke steal kill and all those thing, people do that because they don't have the nature of God in them and so THEY think that it's okay to do things like that. And God loves the smeel of the incense is not really physically smelling it but the smell of the incense is a symbol of prayer. God loves our prayer and He hears every one of them if it is out of a pure heart of course. Well the people like Elijiah for example killed other people because think about it. if they didn't kill then they would have been killed and God wouldn't have been able to do what He planned to do through these people. Get it? and that's the same thing with Moses, if God didn't send the angels to kill all the first-born in Egypt then Pharoah's heart wouldn't have been softened enough to let the Israelites out of Egypt. And when Jesus cursed the tree it's also a symbol of Israel. I'm very serious about this. If you want to know more then just like writ eme or something. yeah hope i helped

My, but we do interpret the scriptures differently! In my understanding of smoking, incense aren't considered a part. The Egyptians stole the service of the Jews for 400 years. When they left, they took what the Egyptians had gained on their backs.
I'm guessing you are referring to the do not kill charge as not administering a judicial system that advocates capitol punishment. When a murderer is caught, it is the height of injustice to allow that man to live. Moreover, in this country not only do they live, but they serve a couple of decades in jail and get out again. I'm sure you have other examples but this issue is too convoluted to go over in one sitting.
You compare faithless, anti-social, immature use of foul language to the faith curse on a tree that didn't bear fruit? Abraham blessed his sons by faith that produced results, Jesus cursed the tree and by faith produced results, (the tree withered in one day) Cursing (foul language) reduces society to the lowest common denominator the same way lawlessness does. You do see the value of having laws that we can all live by? Courtesy, is not generally written into legislation, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be used to elevate the level of civility within society.
All of the world's successful governments have been formed on the basis of holy books. These books are the basis of legal systems, the birthplace of science, art, history and innumerable other benefits we enjoy as a society. Yet the bias against them is extreme. I think you should ask yourself why this is. Could it be that you are prejudiced against the wisdom they might have to offer? Could it be that you don't want to investigate their worth because you're afraid you might be called to a greater discipline?

hi, it truly is definitely considering you do no longer smoke, drink, curse, and so on. which you're obese! LOL yet as long as you may get around, who cares what every person else thinks? Our undesirable behavior are put in front human beings accepted, each so often we would desire to locate something else to do or our undesirable behavior could be the only subject we see accepted. Our minds have better than 60,000 recommendations according to day, a number of them we pay extra interest to than others. there's no person treatment for each individual that works the comparable way so a procedures as nutritional supplementations. yet i like to believe in case you will locate one relaxing subject which you opt to try this does not invole meals, then attempt to incorporate that into your on an accepted basis recommendations and time table as much as possible. solid good fortune on your oncoming conflict, and not in any respect sense depressed because of the fact some software worked for yet somebody else and perchance no longer for you. Having that concept on my own (understanding you have a situation) is likewise a sluggish treatment and a undeniable sign which you're searching for help. under no circumstances enable the seen looking help slip away and it's going to are available in time. wait and notice.

Another misled and misguided soul who will pick apart a verse to meet his expectations or qualifications to reject that which is true. Why dont you give all people the WHOLE chapter surrounding each one of your "verses" so that the WHOLE CONTEXT of the message can be revealed. Your statement would be like me saying that: "you were arrested by authorities for starving your family, child neglect and abuse while you were caught stealing a 10# prime rib from a local market and having a bbq in your backyard". WHEN the actual facts were: you were fired from your job....couldn't find employment for over a month....your family was starving.....a child was seriously sick from malnourishment so you believed enough in God to lay hands on the child for healing. As a last resort, you "took" a prime rib from a store, brought it home to cook and feed your family. And by the way.......in the U>S> if you or your family is "starving" and you can show that you have no means to pay for food.....then "stealing" from a store is not considered a crime.

Lol, are you really serious with this. Man come on lets read into this you are taking quotes and twisting them way out of context. I think smelling a fragrance ascending from a temple and smoking are two different things. That's the same as saying Candles are from the devil...
Clean out the Egyptains... I'll check back, give me some scriptual support. Anyone can make claims lets see the specific scripture to back it up.

Incense represents the prayers of God's people, which he finds pleasing.
God is the One who has the right to determine capital punishment for those who are breaking his laws.
The Hebrew people had been kept as slaves - the things they received were a small payment for the many years of hard labor.
The tree was cursed as an object lesson for Jesus' followers.
You have to get context to understand what's going on.

i don't want to typify Christians because some of my family is christian but i do agree and have asked myself that question a lot. If God is so good and kind why in the old testament has he killed (which is one of the worst of the ten commandments). He is meant to have given us free will yet he smites those who don't follow him? Has anyone else noticed the sudden change in Gods nature as soon as Jesus arrived and started to say that God was good and kind?

Dude...your "God smokes because he likes incense" analogy is embarrasing for those of us who are not Christians! WTF? I like incense, but I hate smoking...
On your other questions...some feel that God has a higher authority and thus lives above our laws (as in he created, therefore has the right to destroy).
Once again, I am not Christian...but seriously go to https://infidels.org and read up before trying to pull thinkgs out of your *** like that !

Egyptians, to plunder their enemies EX 20:15, 17, LE 19:13 God
Prohibits stealing, defrauding, or robbing a neighbor
