Yes, I love him because of his kindness, not his ability to grant wishes.

I don't know why everyone assumes that if they don't get what they want, the God didn't answer them. Ever think He did answer, and the answer was NO? You have to have faith to believe in God, through the good and bad times. If you have faith and love for God, then try to understand why you might not always get everything you pray for or want. God does answer our prayers, just not always with a yes.

Sometimes God's answer to your prayer is not always so evident. Also, one of God's greatest gifts may be unanswered prayers. Don't forget that God knows all and therefore knows what is best for you.

If your request or prayer to God is wholly unselfish and is but for the good of humanity, I believe that he hears and answers those types of prayers wholeheatedly. I believe that God loves us all even the sinner's because that is why he sent his only begotten Son to us so that he may purge our sins with the sacrifice He suffered for us all. Unselfishly Jesus prayed to his Father to forgive us all because we did not know what we were doing. Jesus was so right, just look around at the world and you will know that He knew, having experienced the mortal mode of man, that we are a lost herd of sheeps following wolves in sheep's clothing. So yes I love God even if my prayers aren't always answered because God knows what is best for me.

There are three answers to prayer, yes, no and wait. Most people do not have the patience to wait and many lose faith when the answer is no. Often the only time people pray is when they are in trouble, and God may say wait to test their faith. Only when your mind is quiet and you are listening can prayer be answered. Peace is the test of the source of your answer. I always have faith that the Guiding Spirit will take care of me, and have peace knowing this even under the worst of circumstances. If you are worried, you have little faith. If you have great faith, you have few worries.

I don't base my love for God on whether He answers my prays. I don't believe we should treat God like a light switch.
Yes, I love God if He answers my prayers!
Yes, I love God if He does not answer my prayers!

Yes. And God does answer all prayers, sometimes the answer is "No". It is according to His will not ours, and you don't know what kind of outcome something that you ask for will have. Only God does. (If you spend more time talking to God and less time asking silly questions on the pc., maybe you'll learn something. )

Always, GOD knows best, and because of this he answers your prayers the way they need to be answered and that may not always be the answer that you hoped for, but it is best.

Of course. God isn't our personal prayers ATM. I want this God - OK. I want this God - OK. It just doesn't work that way. God longs to build a deeper, richer relationship with us than just one built on what God can do for us. Like all relationships, it's a two-way street.

Yes. So one or two prayers aren't answered, big deal. What matters is that the important ones are answered.
