I've noticed some people on here simply put as an answer "You need help". Is it just me, or does anyone else think this seems like a subtle way of saying "You need psychiatric help because your beliefs don't agree with mine, therefore you are wrong." Are some people so set in their paradigms that they think certainty equals fact or reality? All parties are guilty of this, theists and atheists.

The worst thing I've heard is women complaining about guys being too "shallow" and always wanting sex. These are the same women who always go for the "pretty" boy or the "bad boys". You would think with all of the women telling other women about their bad experiences with "bad boys" cheating on them, they would take the hint. These so called "sensitive and nice guys" that these women want are there, but are never noticed. Sad thing is that the nice guys always have to wait until older ages when women actually MATURE enough to realize that "bad boys" make terrible husbands. Seems that nice guys do finish last because of women who are too stupid or naive.

Thoughts?

The leaders of this movement say that in the interest of not offending non-believers we should simply invert the 't' and then everyone would be happy. Does anyone have information regarding this well meaning group?

Are they not worried that they will annoy anyone else? Are they selfish?

Or is it selfish to keep your thoughts to yourself only because you are nervous (thus worried only about your own actions) and don't want to say anything that may come out wrong?

I really like my job, but i can't stand the people I have to work with. They are really childish and love to talk behind your back. Then when you are around them they are as nice as they can be. Also, when someone talks badly behind someones back, anyone that hears what that person has said about you, they make a bee-line straight to you and tell you what they heard. I have tried to talk to my boss about this but he just blows it off and I don't know what to do. Help me please!

That is to say if you believe that angels are absent of free-will, a gift God only gave to Man. Angels only know the love of God and their sole, defining purpose is to serve The Father. If that is true, that would mean, for an angel, if God told an angel to take one step forward and they took one and a tenth steps forward than they have broken faith with their creator. Seems stringent and cold but absolutely necessary...for an angel I'd imagine. So we take Lucifer...God says WATCH mankind and he SPEAKS to mankind so now he's broken the one rule God had for his angels which was "Do EXACTLY what I say do" and he is expelled from Heaven. Being an Angel, he still loves God. Loving God is all he knew, and we all know the worst kind of behavior comes from thwarted love, especially if we believe what we did was from a good place. Satan told a blatant truth not knowing God meant "die" in another way. Let's not go feeling sorry for poor Satan, but could this be a possibility?

When my sister decided to get married she, of course, sent out invitations to everyone. Well.....the invitations were really nice, but on the right hand side of the invitation at the bottom was a sticker that said "In liu of gifts we would like money for the honey moon". I'm assuming most of us have certain reservations and preconceptions regarding prostitutes, whether or not we understand their backgrounds - so speak up and please try to elaborate on your opinion (it's for school); I'd like to know why you feel that way.

For the religious - how would you feel if you saw a prostitute praying in your place of worship?

There are Unicorns in the Bible. UNICORNS!!!!!!! How could anyone in thier right mind believe any of this stuff. It's all made up. Not just Christianity but all religions. IT'S MADE UP- its fake and will not lead you towards any truth. Is it because people are expecting an afterlife to make themselves feel better? Jesus himself probably never existed as he never left any writings. Plus instead of using his supposed "powers" to cure many of the diseases during his time he used his "powers" to curse a Fig Tree. What a douche-bag Jesus was!

Seriously, how could anyone actually believe that they are important enough, out of all the animals in the animal kingdom, to warrant themselves an "afterlife"? Talk about stupid! Those "near death experiences" we hear about are/were just hallucinations of a dying asphyxiated (choked) brain! It amounts to no evidence at all for an afterlife! So why? - Why do people believe in this unnecessary religious garbage?

Question 1:There is a jackass that just likes putting negative thoughts on other family members and breaks up the family gettogether what do you think i should do?
