Yes. The genocide of the Native-Americans. Also, millions of Africans were killed, from when they were being kidnapped over to America to when they were used for their labor. Our country was founded on the murder of the Native-Americans and the slave labor of Africans.

It's impossible to to estimate the number of Indians who were enslaved by the European settlers, or killed as the white man moved Westward. We did the real damage just by stepping onto the mainland. They had absolutely no immunity to chicken pox, measles and small pox, and their populations began drastically dropping off as soon as the Europeans landed in the Americas. It would be more proper to say that the majority died of the diseases we brought to the New World (Yes, I know it was not really new.) and we then systematically almost finished the remainder off.

By "America," I presume you mean North and South America.
Millions of natives died as a result of small pox, inadvertently brought by the Europeans.
As to the United States of America, I would hazard a guess that less than 20,000 natives were killed by advertent means.

youre wrong jan and hottie. small pox for one was delivered to the natives in blankets with the sole purpose to kill them. at the thanksgiving celebration in philadelphia, the europeans rolled the heads of indians down the road as a game. i am native american and my history books arent nothing like the ones in white schools. the govt would never teach the white children the truth about how we were and still are treated. they tried to beat the indian out of us, but we are still here and we will never forget how we were robbed, cheated, mistreated and killed, all so the white man could flourish. its the last great crusade of the english.

Expect a visit from Sister Mary Stigmata (the Penguin) from the Saint Helen of the Blessed Shroud Orphanage in Calumet City.
I must warn you, the last person I heard make a remark like that, she washed their mouth out with lye soap and beat them on the head with her ruler until they looked like a pickle.

Yes, the colonization of our hemisphere caused the death of millions and millions of people. Some of the civilizations that were wiped out were highly advanced, but could not fight off guns and disease.

as far as the native americans go yes......but for the people who say it's against african american's you should do some research the slaves we got from africa where from tribes that with in africa would fight each other.then make other tribes slaves after defeating them in battle.then they would sell there slaves to Europeans for gold silver you know whatever.so the "white man" did not start slavery african's did.....for real do the research
