The leaders of this movement say that in the interest of not offending non-believers we should simply invert the 't' and then everyone would be happy. Does anyone have information regarding this well meaning group?

Funny! I guess this is how we pass the time until the next war on Xmas..

Hey look! Jesus was crucified on a hockey stick: t

Well I think that is rediculous. By inverting it they will mess up all the people who learned to write that way. t is one of the most commonly used letters! Besides, by inverting it they will still be using a religious symbol which I personally don't want to use. So even if they switch I and my children will still write it the right way. Besides, written language predates the crucifix! What is the world coming to? Are we all going to stop breathing to keep from offending the wind? Lord help us!

Never heard of it. Seems stupid to me seeing how as a Christian when I see a lower case t all I see is a letter of the alphabet.

Never heard of it. But the idea is silly. The letter has been around a lot longer than Christianity has.

Who the hell is going to get offended because of a letter? Why don't we just erase the asterix because it looks like a Star of David? Why not get rid of anything with a crescent moon on it because it's what Muslims adorn their architecture with?

sounds like yet another urban legend from the religious right.

I googled for info on this, and couldn't find any mention of it.

I think someone sold you a line of bullshit (or you made it up yourself)

regardless, it's clearly some christian's poor attempt at smearing non-believers.

it's that a sin to you guys?
of is lying for Jesus ok?

I think we should change the letter I to a totem pole, that shouldn't offend anybody

If you print it it looks like a little cross, but if you are grown-up and tend to write in a cursive style it looks different.

Offending non-believers, my pug's big furry butt.

PC gone way too far.

I've never heard about it, but they're wrong. The written alphabet came before Jesus.
