I've been around the web and some sites say that Muhammed was a false prophet and that Islamists once worshipped stone idols. How did people find this stuff? Where did they get such info?

I'm Christian by the way. I've no interest in joining Islam but I do want to know if this is all lies.

Religion. Maybe you should question what it actually is? In my opinion it's believing strongly about something that no1 can possible know the answer to (what happens after death, how life was created) and supporting your guess, which is just as good as any other, as a fact. Why can't you religous people see that is what your doing? Surely you don't really believe you KNOW what happens after death and every1 else is wrong. If so, what a naive, ridiculously close-minded opinion. I think, after a little bit of soul searching I have found the answer to wether or not their is a god or not and the answer is... No1 knows, no1!!! And I believe that is the best conclusion I can come to. So why take the gamble? If their is a god, which I doubt a pretty good bit, then he will, being as perfect as he is, be able to see into my mind and understand why I don't believe in him and why I won't let other's gain control of my mind and be happy b/c he knows he wont see me ramming myself into a building.

If you're jobless and filling out a personal ad and you get to the part where is says 'occupation' or 'profession', is there a better-sounding word than 'unemployed'?

I don't want to lie and say 'other', 'self-employed', 'semi-retired', or 'currently looking.' I want to be honest. I'm not working now because of a disability. But I also don't want to sound like a sloth.

'Transitioning' is one that I heard. 'Taking a sabbatical'?

I've decided that I quit life. I'm sick of being surrounded by people who don't seem to really care and I'm sick of trying to fit into society. I'm sick of society's lies and I'm sick of trying to understand people. Why can't I just be who I am? I don't want to be like everyone else, but I know I can't really be different. I'm a Christian, so I don't buy the whole accidental life idea. It doesn't have a point. It doesn't explain beauty, art, happiness, or the reasons why I get up and go to work everyday. I doesn't explain why we choose to follow these ideas about good and evil. If there is no afterlife or no point to this one, why follow laws, why have a conscience? The complexity of our bodies and our planet seem impossible if explained by an accident.
